Any SCSU students?

Hey, just wondering if any of you guys that check this forum attend State! I am attempting to start an on campus bass club and we need members! If anybody knows of some people that like to fish that attend college there, let me know! Thanks!

I don't know if you're aware of it or not, but TBF has a college program which allows you to compete at a natiional level, advance on to the TBF Natinoal Championship and a shot at the BFL All-American and the Forrest Wood Cup.

It's unbelievable how much this college deal has grown in the past couple years and it's great to see some minnesota teams finally starting up... now you just have to hold some tournaments in MN so I might be able to have a good finish instead on falling on my face every time I go down south

Sounds like there should be a SCSU alum club. Maybe serve as a mentor club to the college club!

haha i went to SCSU because they had such good fishing around campus, i think the alum club would do pretty good

I went to scsu as well, we would have an awesome team. Man I wish this whole college bass thing would have been aroud ten years ago. Good luck getting a club started let us know how it goes or if you need help with anything.

I remember wading the river south of the 10th street bridge. Caught lots of smallies, walleyes, pike and snagged the occational carp. Lost a lot of lures on the rocks down there though. Great fishing to be had on the Mississippi around St.Cloud.

I go to State, but I'm done in May so I won't be of much help. You guys really should try to get something going, there is a serious lack of clubs for outdoorsmen at this school.

There are some true bronzebacks around the dam and down the river i loved hitting up those backwaters fun times

Undergrads only, sorry! We are still throwing around some ideas for the club, and have been kind of thinking of putting on a student/alum tourney. How many of you guys would like to see something like this? Pair up a club member with an alum. I think it would be kind of fun!

I know they did and they have fished tourneys all over the country. Husky Bass Fishing Club is the name.
