My team tournament fishing partner just bought a sweet used boat. 2000 Stratos(19ft) with a 200 Evinrude and a 74lb trolling motor. It should be finished getting cleaned at the dealership this week, so hopefully we will have it on the river soon to put the hotfoot to the floor. I'm extremely excited because now I have ample space in the back of the boat, as before I had an 18" or so platform on the back of the Crestliner to stand. Fish beware...

Sounds like a river fisherman to me.

This time of year. Dang right.

I mostly fish lakes. You know, all the fish are not on the other side of the lake. My biggest Bass last year was a beatup old warhorse 30 feet from the landing on E Jefferson. Come to think of It, I didn't have my boat with me and it was on a flyrod with A green clouser deep minnow I had tied a day or two before. I try not to limit my fishing horizons. What I look for in summer fishing is the Triphecta, That is a Bass and a Walleye over 20" and a Northern over 30" being boated in one day.

As I said I was standing in the water so I didn't have a scale or tape with me. I will say it was over 20 and less then 22". With the look of it's lips I would say I was not the first to catch and release this fish.
