I'm sure glad I decided to go out for a couple hours after work. Both caught on black/blue jig and craw.

i went through my email the other day, and for once i actually looked at the monthly berkley big fish finalist email. to my suprise, it was me. so i will be recieving a brand new revo (my third one from the site) and i am one of the 12 that are eligible every year for a fishing trip with hank parker. so wish me luck on that!

A couple from 2 weekends ago

My buddy caught one smallie that was just under 4lbs from the st.croix, but most of the fish were not very big.

where is Jalberg? he seems to always have some big ones this time of year?

Best fall weekend of the year for overall size and numbers. Most likely the last trips of the year unless i get a crazy itch this weekend.

I got the itch and I found them in the weeds in about 12-18 feet of water, nothing huge but a blast on a light action rod and 4lb line. Lost a pig right under my feet. It was really cool to watch the fish through the ice when they would run. At the end of the day I had put 12 on the ice.
