RumRiverRat
A sampling of Fish from this weekend. All but the one with the Leatherman in the pic were caught on a frog colored Zara Spook. Found fish stacked on a main lake bar. Transition area from shallow (4 to 6 foot)small rock and gravel to weeds in 7 to 11 feet.

RumRiverRat
One of them almost looks pre-spawn? If you are talking about the fish with the Leatherman in the picture, I thought that as well. That fish was thick. I suspect the fish had spawned on the rock/gravel and moved to the transition from rocks/gravel to weeds to recover.I fished that spot hard Saturday Evening, Sunday Early Morning, Mid afternoon and the last 2 hours of daylight and Monday from about 4:30am to 10am. Pulled about 80 fish in 12 to 14 hours of fishing that spot. The early morning and late evening topwater bite was incredible.

Fever
Congrats. Good looking fish. 18 inchers usually don't weigh quite that much. Must have just ate something or maybe it was just thick.

TonyKay
yeah this fish was beat up, between the right eye being all clouded up and all the lumps and scars. It makes you wonder how old this fish was/what its been thru.

IBFishin2
I know that lake! The construction gave it away.. The lake north of that one is much better.
thatoneguy
Nothing massive the last couple times out, but LOTS of nice, solid 17"-19" fish. Fishing solo most of the time I didn't take many pictures (too hard to get a decent pic) but here are a couple. Fat, healthy fish...they haven't been skipping any meals. Fever
Topwater? Nice Fish. I'm guessing right around the 20 inch mark and a bit over 5lb? What times were you fishing? I've been kickin the idea of night fishing around lately but haven't gotten out to do it yet. I've heard black buzz baits and just basically up sizing other baits in order to present a larger profile as well as fishing clearer water lakes.
