No! It is a lake that is a north of Parkers Prarie. Caught 14 crappies that were over 14"+ and one that was 15+. Healthy fish too, and I released all of them.

Yeah, every time I look at the weather for up there, all I see is snow snow snow. What do you guys have on the lakes now, 1ft+?

Lets hope for some cold temps to get things a little more solid.

Surprisingly, there isn't much snow at all on the lakes. The only time we ran into any significant amount, and that was less than 6-8", was when we were skirting the shoreline trying to avoid slush areas. All-in-all, it's shaping up real good. Most main lake areas have either clear ice or an inch or so of snow. I pulled my Otter "Cottage" (in pic) over 1/2 mile one way to get these fish and if I did that, there can't be much snow at all.

Wow! I guess you can't trust the weather man 100% of the time. Hopefully no big snow events in the near future. I'm counting the days until I get back up there.

We had a fair amount of snow but the wind has pushed it off the lakes and up near shore. Cool.

First ice came to NY about a week and a half ago and my dad and I have been getting some quality fish.

A few crappies pushing the 14in mark...

Dad got this gill today, a solid 10...

Heres a few from tonight. Biggest was 8.5.

Fish bit steady untill dark. Funny thing is last night it was mostly crappie and tonight it was mostly gills.
