I like the kid that asked Simon "Do you want me to sing God Save The Queen?". Then when he got outside and Seacrest asked him what happened, he said "I dont know, simon must have had the wrong kind of tea this morning". That kid cracked me up.

I didn't care for the bikini chick one bit.

One thing that gets me through watching the show with the fam, beside the family time, is DVR.

There's more than once where they show a closeup of the judges, and then during the same audition, they show a judge again, but you can see off to the side where there's another judge sitting.

Last night they showed Paula sitting to the right of Simon, and during the same audition, they showed Kara sitting to the right of Simon.

You could just see the edge of her arm and shoulder on the edge of the screen.

I had to rewind to show the wife.

I've noticed that too, but it's been happening all along in the other seasons. Heck a lot of times the judges critiques or reactions aren't even directed at the singer being profiled...you can tell, it's obvious.

One big hack editing job, and it seems to be getting worse.

The show makes for good water cooler talk, but I think the mustard is coming off, and it won't be around a whole lot longer.

Pretty weak showing from the "granola city" (what ain't fruit and nuts is flakes!). They only picked 12 of the 10K plus that showed up and I can pick at least 5 of those who were questionable calls. KC provided much more talent than boys town did. We shall see what the Bluegrass State can produce tonight but from the trailers there looked to be some pretty good candidates for Hollywood. We shall see.

Decent show, decent talent, much better than San Fran. On to Jacksonville where I know of one person who will make it thru. My nephew in the Tampa area has a friend who tried out and got put thru at the Jacksonville show, can't wait to see it.

Which show do you think it will be where Paula's lady lumps actually plop out onto the desk? Getting close! LOL

      got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out

      Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!

      we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
