The "Original" Ice Map (Done for the year!)

I was out on North Lida near Pelican Rapids on Thurs. and there was 17" of good clear ice. Ice fishing before Thanksgiving and driving on the ice before Christmas, can't get much better than this.

I even saw a small car on the lake last night.

Was out on Big Marine today a solid 11-13" everywhere I drilled, I would guess people will be or have been driving out there....

out on Andrusia off of Cass Lake.

13 inches of ice, and a foot of snow. Some water under the snow depended on where you are on the lake

Anything new with the melt and drizzle from yesterday?

I was out from 3-8 on Carls and when I left there was 1-2 inches of standing water (and slush where there was still snow) over most of the lake.

13-14" on Turtle near Shoreview tonight. Yesterdays slush was mostly frozen over.

Same here in the Hayward area. I was out on Lac Courte Orieles the last 2 days and 4 wheelers were getting stuck Friday but were driving all over yesterday. Still only 8 to 12 inches but the snow lost a lot of its insulating capabilities so it should improve unless we get dumped on again.

We had a good run this year but we have gotten to the point of not enough info to keep it going.
