MinnesotaMongo
Book it - Mankato West Scarlets are on a holy terror this year. Holy cripes - they have a ton of very skilled athletes, and their Offense if nasty sick.Watch the Richter Twin's at Wide Receiver - they got a lot of attention from the Gopher recruiters this week, from what I heard. They can run and leap like deer!
bassNspear
Bass'N,are you originally from the GSL area? Former Panther? yes, i was the full back for the 2000 team that won the state title in 2000
zepman
Mongo--here's hoping they pull one more out. Offense, offense and more offense. The Richter boys remind me of Decker from the U. Both will be playing Saturdays next year.

harvey lee
GSL once again showed how great a team they really are. Congrats
Dave S
I feel with the consistancy they've been showing over the years, they'll be able to compete equally well if they're bumped up to 4A pending the outcome of the McCleod West situation.Congrats to GSL. They are truly a powerhouse team.
bassNspear
GSL will never be in class 4a, they dont have anywheres close to the number of students enrolled to become a 4 a school!once again they come out and blow people away in the second half of the football game. The reports that i was listen to didnt think that GSL had the power to beat them up in the second half, but what people dont understand is that GSL never plays guys both ways unless they have to.Im happy for Chimp to get his first state title of his carrer, during his first year as the head coach for GSL
Dave S
I stand corrected. I have always heard that GSL was towards the top of the enrollemnt numbers to be in 3A.
bassNspear
na, i grew up there, and the numbers have always been down. They started up three new housing developments and there is 1 house on one, and 2 houses on the others. Just not getting poeple moving out that far! riverrat56
BnS, what kind of percentage of guys go for out for football up there?? Just wondering as very few teams can say that no one plays both ways, it is an impressive statistic.
