Lisa - Very cool that you're a Metallica fan! I need to get a Gene Simmons avatar! I've been back stage with KISS, Ted Nugent, Skid Row, Def Leppard (can't share details) laugh

I enjoy your posts...my wife is a huge outdoors fan. We spend a lot of time each year camping, lake & stream fishing, morel hunting, hiking etc.

I don't know, I kinda like Luciano, Barry, Michael, Neil, Old blue eyes, Perry, War, Iron Butterfly, Jon, Daughtry, Eagles, Kiss, Devo, should I see a shrink?

Sorry I just never really liked that. I'm more for classic rock, pretty much everything from the 70's and earlier.

Sorry to get back on this so late. I would be honored to dance for a bunch of ladies in a banana suit. Just doubt you'd be impressed with a pear shaped banana.

When I walk into Mrs. Tom's computer room, there is Jon on the computer..I won't give her age, but she just went to his last concert in St. Paul with a mid 30's girl who is the same age as her children.

Since I grew up in the 80's, I like all those hair bands like the Scorpions, Bon Jovi, Warrant, Cinderella, Queensryche, etc.... but I also love Pantera, System of a Down (I know they broke up), Disturbed, Godsmack and on and on....I don't really like Megadeth or Judas Priest though.

Badger, here's your avatar! KISS-GeneSimmons202020_photo.jpg

Lisa - I've also seen Van Halen, Cinderella, Bon Jovi, David Lee Roth, Motley Crue, Aerosmith, Stevie Ray Vaughn and more!!

Even saw SPINAL TAP!!!! What a blast...love the movie!

Thanks for the avatar...how do I post it???

KISS was a blast to be backstage with. I've seen them 4 times with the original members. Spent a couple of hours meeting them before the concert & after (pictures & guitar pics). My friend has connections with JAM Productions out of Chicago.

Def Leppard was a huge party before & after the show with the band.

John Prine, The Guess Who, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Grateful Dead, The Who, The Stones, Van Morrison, Dylan ( writing not singing crazy ) etc, etc.

Ohh yea - and disco, but only in the gay bars. Yes I grew up gay in the 70's - what can I say, but " we are family" grin

80's Rock for me. I used to go to a lot of concerts too.

Kiss (3 times...they were much better when younger), Def Leppard, Megadeth, Metallica, Motley Crue, Whitesnake, Tom Petty, Pink Floyd, Night Ranger, etc.

My favorite memory...we went to go see Alice Cooper (not a huge fan, but the concert was GREAT). There was a band we never heard of opening for them. Their CD just came out and we bought it and listened to it. Hey, they weren't bad...and after the concert we thought they may make it some day. The band called themselves "Guns and Roses".

I'm sure Rush was a great show! I had the opportunity to see GNR 2nd row in Phoenix (only 2K people capacity)...Awesome show!! I've also enjoyed seeing The Cult, U2 and INXS. I actually bartended for a private party for U2 when I was working in AZ in my young 20's at the Biltmore Resort.

Anyone familiar with Badlands, D.A.D, Tora Tora, Fastway, Krokus, Y&T or Pantara?

I ushered at the old Met Center and did a Grand Funk, Jethro Tull, 3 Dog nite and the went with my bride to the old Midway stadium for a Beach Boys, and at the old Met for a Neil Diamond concert. Quite a variety. laugh

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
