Kyle Busch / New Intimidator

Yeah I knew somebody would have to bring that up. But when you look at it, who there has really won all that much except for Burton and Stewart and maybe Jr.???? And really, when you think of it, do you really think these guys care all that much about winning in the nationwide?

And for the truck series....I never knew those guys had illustrious careers in the cup series. eek.gif\:ogrin.gif

Yeah, I know I'm over-reacting. But I just have no "love" for the guy plus the way it sounds, the win was a real cheapo.

Oh well. I've found it real hard to even watch a race this year. In fact, I haven't even seen an entire one yet. Not even all of the Daytona 500. crazy.gif

It's funny all you Sr. fans are backing me up. Dale was definitely the most hated in his day. He wasn't respected in the early days by his fellow drivers. And yes he was a hack too. Ask Darrell Waltrip how many walls Big Dale sent him into.

He gained respect out of FEAR. No one wanted Dale behind them.

Does this sound familiar?? The blinders fooled you all into backing me up!

Thanks NAPAFISH and all!!

I think the days of having "fear" of someone that's behind you are now gone also. I don't think any of the drivers fear who's behind them. They'll just get ticked off and re-pay the favor in a future race. If I'm not mistaken, when Sr. was driving, guys didn't want to re-pay the "favor".

NASCAR's officiating and head office are different today too. They'll put more fear into a driver than another driver will IMO.

Come on Harvey.....Seriously.

Kyle is 22 years old. Sr. Didn't really start competeing heavily in the Cup series until he was nearly 30 years old.

Everyone is right saying he has to grow up in some respects with handling himself but to say that he is a HACK is just laughable.

Rubbing is Racing. Drivers better watch out. Kyles coming in that rear view. grin.gif

Rubbing is 1 thing, Driving into a corner knowing the only way you can make it is to turn into the guy to the right of you is wrong. Plain and simple. Martin could have done the samething Busch did but he didn't. Why? Because he has more respect for his fellow competitors, not because he is afraid or doesn't have the skill. It is all respect. Busch has talent, someone needs to explain give and take on the track. Its not give him the bumper and take the position.

I think they were both racing hard for the win. I think people are overreacting since it was Jr's first shot at a win in a while.

I am not saying that shrub hasn't made bone head moves in the past and won't in the future.

I think to compare shrub to Big E is a little bit of a stretch. Everyone who drives like a loose cannon early in their career gets compared to Dale (Harvick etc.) I think it just takes a Bush a little longer to learn thicker heads or something...He has had some early success but its not like he came in driving for one of the lower rung teams.

I don't have near as much problem with the wreck itself as just the general attitude of I can do whatever, whereever and everyone else doesn't matter. He caused the wreck by being out of control, but mistakes happen. IF he was man enough to say, "I lost it in the corner and got into him, my mistake", it would be a "no big deal" racing incident. Everybody has done that from time to time we are all human.

What's really irritating though is him CONSISTENTLY thinking he can do whatever and then saying others need to learn "its not all about him" WHAT KYLE??!!?!! Will you EVER learn that yourself? It took Jimmy Spencer smacking your brother in the face to teach him, who'll will teach you? Its coming, its just a matter of when and how it comes... He's caused numerous wrecks by being careless and overly agressive and it doesn't even seem to phase him when he does it.

He couldn't carry Big E's fire resistant underwear!

Yes some of what is being said by the Dale jr. fans could be considered whining or crying. Some of it I’m sure is just down right ridiculous, but it still doesn’t change the fact that little shrub was reckless and careless and took out a driver with a better car. Not only did he knock out a better car, but he opened the door for car he should have beaten. So what did he really accomplish?

That's why they call it a "nation".

Busch League may have a small municipality if even that. Could even be considered a village and appropriately so since he's the village one-who-thinks-I-am-silly.

Well- lets get real-K.B. drives a rice burner: Lives in Vegas: Took out a good old Southern Boy driving motherhood and apple pie.(Chev) That to me is why a lot of people are upset with him. All of the Media Is from where? Do I like the way K.B drives- at times yes-at times no-but he is one of the best right now and in the future, maybe this year will be Champion.

Totally agree no brains at times . How many 23 year olds would have in the position and what he is doing? Think of the Pro athletes that are in a Leader ship position at his age?

Napa,

When you say the same thing over and over and over in a conversation you just become annoying and people stop listening to you. If that is the best you can do, stop posting and just read along. We get it you are a busch fan, now let it go.

Thought mabe when he totaled his brother last year at Lowes Busch the elder would have given him an atitude adjustment. I know they didnt speak for a ling time after that. Mabe being a pansy and not standing up for yourself or admiting your mistakes runs in the family.
