eyemaster
what are your favorite plastics and how do you use them for eyes?
PerchJerker
For the river I like ringworms. For pitching jigs shallow and deep in lakes I like 3" twister tails. I usually use powerbait, gulp, or kalpins. My favorite plastic bait to pitch shallow is a 4 or 5 inch jerkshad (jerkshad should be 2 seperate words but the word filter will change it to jerk-bait if I type it as 2 words).Another option for plastics is using power crawlers on live bait rigs or spinner rigs behind planer boards, but I don't do much of this. weeds
I was thinking about starting a thread inquiring about anyone having success with Gulp!Alive 5" leeches. But I guess it sort of fits here. Anybody? I saw a deal on tub and it got we wondering. I haven't really had any success with plastics for 'eyes. I confess that I don't go to them very often. carverfshrmn
Berkely Power tails, 2-3 in casting the shallows, 3 in for rivers,
zepman
The 2 and 3 inch Berkley Power Minnows are a fantastic bait both fished shallow(pitching) or vertically jigged. The 3" Berkley Drop Shot Minnows are going to be just flat out awesome this year.
TrophyEyes
I really like the Lindy Munchies 4" grubs. It is the bait that I caught a 14# walleye on so my confidence may be artificially high. I have to say that I am looking into other plastics right now, but still maintain a good supply of Munchies.
Stick in Mud
Swimshads on jigs can be awesome in weeds and over rocks. Last year I had some success using senkos...was out fishing for smallies in the river and couldn't keep the walleyes off! It only happened once, but it was a lot of fun. I probably could have caught them on just about anything that day, though, so I'm not sure that senkos are ideal walleye lures.
riverrat56
I really like a 3" or 4" Sassy Shad, or shad type swim bait. I have had alot of success using them on rivers or casting in lakes.
Team Otter
Dave, you seem to be one step ahead of me lately. I guess it's nice for me though because I have to type less. Thanks. Ha!
Spazzums08
HUGE fan of the 3" chartruese Gulp (Alive) minnow grub. It's basically a little more detailed version of a standard mister twister. Love the stuff, usually the first thing I toss out.

Bigeye30"
Just picked up some Slurpies, haven't tried them yet but from the looks of them I think (hope) that I will like them. 4" ringworms and grubs.
fishcast
I've done real well with Gulp! products, especially the leeches and 3" minnows. In water with low clarity I really think the scent of gulp! makes a differnce. Also used the 3" and 4" power minnows which have real good looking colors.
