I agree Boogaard. Demitra should have taken the shot towards the end of the 3rd there. By the time he tried passing to Gaborik they were in too close. I thought the game was over for sure when the penalty shot was called given Backstrom's stellar play during shootouts... All in all it was a fun game to watch, go Wild!

I heard Skoula has a leg injury and might not play tonight. Calling up Erik Reitz from Houston who hasn't played since March 9th because of an ankle injury. Ouch, any defenseman out there that want to suit up tonight?

I hear the same thing, can't believe it! Whats going on with our defensemen?? We need to put them in a plastic bubble till the playoffs are over

I know there won't be too many heartbroken Wild fans if Skoula can't play tonight, but we sure are running short at D. He must have hurt his leg deflecting the puck out to Sakic on the OT goal...

Skoula is terrible but we actually might need him for the night and series we are so short at D we really need him to step up tonight like he did against Vancouver at the end of the year. Wild need 2 quick goals tonight so they can get some confidence and make to Avs work hard and get tired. Go Wild they need this one tonight don't want to go to Colorado down 2.

Yeah its about as close to a must win as it gets already. I'm still sticking with a split here and split out there! As long as this thing comes back to Minnesota for Game 5!

im hoping to see all the big guys in tonight. Voros is fresh along with simon. Physical play definately went into the wilds favor when it was just that physical! Hope things work out tonight in the wilds favor.backstrom needs to have a good game again without those luck lame goals the avs seemed to put in!

I will say 4-1 Wild. A must have game.

If you dress Voros and Simon who do you scratch? Sheppard, Radio(who has been playing well)? Parrish maybe since he is hurt. If you dress the big boys I think you scratch Parrish and Radio. Probably not Sheppard since we are short at center also. I wouldn't mind seeing Pouliot getting a game or 2 to see what he can do.

I see Erik Reitz is on the roster. Maybe Skoula is out tonight. If so, tough place to put Reitz, 2nd game of the playoffs.

Go Avs!

Who asked you? grin.gif I think both teams played well. I think the wild dominated everything except the score board. I want to see Boogie Man earn his money tonight! grin.gif

May the best team win! Go Wild!

Booger did a good job and definitely earned his money on Wed. Sorry he didn't make all you knuckle draggers happy by dropping his gloves and fighting but his presence on the ice was definitely felt. The Wild played a good physical game but I don't think they have a clue how to actually score on Theodore. Plus playoff games are won by special teams and the Wild definitely lacked at those the first game.

<The Wild by the way have never won a non-elimination home game in the playoffs. 0 for 8 >

Wild down 1-0 after two. There playing better need a quick goal on the powerplay should be a two man advantage how do you miss the stick to Fedoruks face??? Like I said before Wild thin at D means we actually need Skoula and he's been stepping up he finally woke up and started to hit which is a good sign.
