Prepare yourself for some wet feet. Friday and yesterday were a couple of those rare gorgeous days in the 50s. Shore ice getting pretty soft. Sat out in shirt sleeves watching eagles swooping down on some coots in the open water. Now, this morning's slop was the heaviest stuff I've ever tried to move off of the driveway, and it's coming down like mad again now. Supposedly up to another foot on the way.

LOTS and LOTS of snow today in Bemidji area!!!!! Had to drive from Fosston to Bemidji and it took over 1 1/2 hours. Fished in a sweatshirt on Saturday and no way of getting out in this wind/snow today! Crazy Weather!

I was out around St Cloud last W/E and was driving through open water in the wheeler before I hit the ice. It was great on Sat Night fishing in a t-storm. That was a first for me on the ice. Too bad the fish didn't care for it. I also found out I need some seam sealer on the seams of my X2 cause she got a little drippy in the downpour.

Ya, you wouldn't want to actually have to walk a half mile, better off costing yourself 20 grand when you drop your truck in.
