I guess I hope not. I think we could live with Kubel out there for two weeks. Span would play everyday where he's at. In the long run, it may slow down his development to be bouncing around and not playing everyday.

Span will probably only get in a few games. Kubel and Monroe will just play everyday. a great chance for kubel to show how much better than monroe he is. hopefully he takes advantage.

With Cuddy on the DL, they have a spot for someone. IMO both Span and Jones would benefit from a little time in the Bigs. Makes 'em want more.

I agree with DonBo. Span did absolutely nothing to not make the bigs in spring. It's just Gomez was very impressive. I say give em a shot to show his stuff in a couple of real games.

I don't think having him do well would cause problems. It may be hard to find time for everybody, but I don't think any team would complain about having someone doing well. If there hot you might want to stick with him and see how long it lasts! Thats what I would do I guess!

Monroe shows no confidence or patience at the plate. The Twins are on the hook for $4 mil for this spare.

I was checking minor league stats on Go-Go and found that he has over 1,000 minor league at-bats and has averaged nearly 90 whiffs per season in the bushes. I'm not too sold on him being the leadoff hitter of the future. That first game was a aboration.

Gomez is young, he will learn to be more patient. He can bunt, make infield hits, that shouldnt be! His OBP is good so far, so you cant complain yet!

Kubel will break out this year...finally healthy.

The book is still out on Monroe...hes trying to make it a short one here though.

Gomez will be a star in this league, thats for sure. Lets not forget how young this guy is. Most guys wouldnt see this much playing time until they had 3 more seasons on em in the minors.
