I would actually, and this sounds sappy, would have liked to fish with my grandpa. He was dead long before I was around, but I have heard some good stories. However, from the sounds of the stories, I may have been in trouble one way or another a time or two.

Black Bay-- Too funny, I dont want to fish with myself some days.. LOL If your ever in the area, let me know! I owe you for making me laugh that hard...

lotsofish- Your in my back yard... The list is far from 9 years long... e-mail me some time this summer. sportscholar @ msn.com

actually even if joking, very humbled that my name would even be brought up in this type of post. I have fished with quite a few members from this site, I have learned from each of them, and hope in turn that they too picked something up from me.

I am far from anybody interesting, just have a love for the sport(if we can call it that) of bass fishing..

Ok.. my vote, besides fishing with my good bud Wayne Ek(agape)... I've always been a huge Rick Clunn fan...In a heart beat!

Rick Clunn is like the godfather, good choice Deitz. Rob and I are going to try our best to get a chance to ride in the back of your boat sometime this summer. Would like to learn a thing or two about deep water bassin from ya. Some deep crankin and drop shot tactics. Two things we are both kinda lackin in the skills department on.

Its a deal Tom... if you can get time off during the week that would be great some time..

I think I have read everything Rick has ever written... as a young dude growing up, he was the man!.. thing is, he has adapted with the times and continues to cash checks! he may not be the hottest dude on the tour now.. but that dude has forgot more than I'll ever know!

Bass=Deitz (Tom beat me to it in some ways). Bill Dance would be second, but I figure Deitz's schedule would be more open grin.gif.

The rest of the fish species, would be a toss up between Dtro, Hanson and D30 grin.gif.

FM is all I care to know! These guys are the real deal and they will show you the time of day. That is who I would care to fish with.

Thanks.

I will throw Babe W in the mix, he was very cool the last time I met up with him at a launch up North. He was asking how to get to a connecting lake and was a true gentlemen looking for bass. One of my high lights as a MN fisherman. I helped out Babe cool.gif!

Sorry, I will let you bass guys go on grin.gif. Thanks for listening.

Shack..

Gosh this is a toss up here but without hesitation I would have to fish with Larry Dahlberg. He chases after big fish including peacock bass, marlin, dorado, Nile perch, and my favorite tarpon which I hope to hook and land some day!

Been in Clunns boat fishing and Agapes plotting lake structure so guess I would pick George Bush Senior for Stripers and question and answer session or Peter Thobideaeus or however you spell it for fresh water knowledge. We got to fish around him several years ago and he seems to be a very good fishermen as all we met respected him .

Also would love to fish California for a monster largemouth.

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
