Otter Cabin Heater

I am putting the final touches on a new Otter Cabin. I have downsized to this size for weight purposes.

My question is will the Buddy Heater heat the Cabin on zero degree days, or should I use the Mr. Buddy. The Buddy Heater is a little smaller in dimension and a little less weight.

As always, appreciate the input.

I have a little buddy heater. It would work nice in my 5800 with 2 adults in a teen plus temp. Anything lower and it would start getting chilly. I always use my sunflower fo my flip over now, but I will still keep my little buddy for my old shack.

The only problem I found was the propane would get so cold in those one pound tanks it would stop working. I had a ton of half tanks, that I need to bring for next time.

One of my fishing buds has the big buddy. We used it last weekend, and I was impressed with the fan option to help. I would go with that if I were you.

Go with the Big Buddy. You can never have enough heat!! I has three settings,so you can turn it down. Also I dont use the one pound tanks. Go to at least a 10 lbs. bulk tank. One more sugestion, propane is dirty, get a filter(that they sell) and add that. You should never have a problem!! They should start going on sale. About $95.00. Good Luck

I picked up one of the Big Buddy's on Amazon last night, thanks for the tip Wallabee. I also picked up the quick connect hose with the regulator because on the Mr. Heater site it stated that a filter wasn't necessary with that hose.
