Lol....that map wouldnt have worked last night Doug we couldnt see 3 feet in front of our faces with that fog! Caught about 25, i was using my sonic crystal gel in bait fish formula, and it made a BIG difference!

Nice fishing with you and Frank as well \:\)

I ended up with well over a limit...All C&R!

Chris did the same...kept a few for the kids...yhey love 'em!

Frank got there about 30min after us and missed that 30min Borage whistle.gif Frank did a limit as well with 17 in his last hole. We all had our tricks that worked!

At dark I went glow and that didn't last long...switched to the DARK CLOUD Pink Jig he gave me Sat...Thanks DC. I tipped it with a Pink Mini Draggi from the Makster!

BTW Todd, our Cabela's order is in and our Plastics Storage Tackle Systems are in \:D

The wait for the fish was murder and I did give each hole 15 and 20 min. You start going a while without marking a fish and you get to the point where your just glad you saw a fish go through. That's work..

I did what Tank said., "Stay put and they will come in,". Next thing you know your holes are covered in perch up-chuck and all those juicy bloodworms are being spread out like confetti on New Years Eve.

Then the stragglers come in and eventually a school 2-3 because the more chuck you got in the hole the broader and wider your attracting area is going to be... I did get a double, that was cool. Double woofies in 2mm and 3mm

I probably would have only caught 4 or 5, moving the way I did earlier... Fishingking had the hot hole they were just underneath him. It's funny how you can fish around a guy and he's still the only one marking fish?" That's tough...

I have to fish Saturday but I will be checking a panfish lake with Todd. This is a scout mission... Don't know what will find and if it's any good I'll work on access. \:\)

Chris and Doug, thanks for the invite. It was interesting to look around last night and see more than three feet in front of your face. But then again, that's all you have to look to see your flasher. That last hole was in 10 fow and the craps were coming off the bottom . . . made sense since they were suspended generally around 10 feet in 18 fow. I too was using pink also with white plastic . . .made for a long presentation but the little tail called them in. Next Wednesday? It will probably take 3 days for the trap to completely dry in the garage!!!

I've been notified today by the Central Command director "she the one who must be obeyed" that I won't be fishing Saturday and I have been ordered to spend the day helping tile a backsplash in the kitchen crazy.gif I think I'll make it to one of our out of the way perch or crappie spots on Sunday though grin.gif

The only good thing about my Saturday is I will be able to drink many tasty ales while I work. Otis, Do they have a bar at the mall grin.gif

Dosen't the Comander in Chief trumph the central Command Director? lol \:\( I have been on both sides of the ball and its nice to be in charge but as the saying goes "if momma ain't happy, nobodys happy"

Otis - not sure if you have been there but its a kinda cool mall. The bigger of the two restaurants where you'd get back on the thru-way is a good place to eat - good food and big portions...

I've never been there, I just figured it was like any other mall. I like the sounds of that restaurant, I'll definitely have to check that out. Thanks DC!

Lees right, I forgot about the fact BassP is right down the road. We always combo it into a mall, BP, and some winerys trip.

FYI - its an outdoor type mall where your outside between stores. Some neat cookin stores and most others are outlets so some good deals can be had...

Now you guy's are talking! I'll have to "get lost" and accidently turn into BP. Might not be that bad of a day after all. At least I now have a positive attitude towards going. That should make it more enjoyable for the misses. Thanks guys!

    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
    • I haven’t done any leaf springs for a long time and I can’t completely see the connections in your pics BUT I I’d be rounding up: PB Blaster, torch, 3 lb hammer, chisel, cut off tool, breaker bar, Jack stands or blocks.   This kind of stuff usually isn’t the easiest.   I would think you would be able to get at what you need by keeping the house up with Jack stands and getting the pressure off that suspension, then attack the hardware.  But again, I don’t feel like I can see everything going on there.
    • reviving an old thread due to running into the same issue with the same year of house. not expecting anything from yetti and I already have replacement parts ordered and on the way.   I am looking for some input or feedback on how to replace the leaf springs themselves.    If I jack the house up and remove the tire, is it possible to pivot the axel assembly low enough to get to the other end of the leaf spring and remove that one bolt?   Or do I have to remove the entire pivot arm to get to it? Then I also have to factor in brake wire as well then. What a mess   My house is currently an hour away from my home at a relatives, going to go back up and look it over again and try to figure out a game plan.           Above pic is with house lowered on ice, the other end of that leaf is what I need to get to.   above pic is side that middle bolt broke and bottom 2 leafs fell out here is other side that didnt break but you can see bottom half of leaf already did but atleast bolt is still in there here is hub assembly in my garage with house lowered and tires off when I put new tires on it a couple months ago. hopefully I can raise house high enough that it can drop down far enough and not snap brake cable there so I can get to that other end of the leaf spring.
