Roofer
If it was there, I wouldn't be. I avoid the Cities as much as possible. I couldn't imagine with a trailer and trying to park somewhere.

Roofer
Not sure if this was mentioned yet, but I received an email. In addition to what Paul said..........-------------------------------------------------------------------"Hi Everybody The ATV Parade Committee would like to give you a quick update. In talking to people around the state, we hear a lot of excitement so you have been doing a good job in getting the word out and we thank you for that. We would like to let everybody know that there is ample parking. We will be able to use the city streets for parking then get on the trail and ride out to the staging area of the parade. There are several dirt roads that lead off from the staging area that we are going to use and we have access to several parking lots around town so again there is going to be enough parking for everybody. The parade route is going to be a designated ATV trail for the day so kids can participate as long as they meet MN State requirements for riding on trails. "The schedule for the event is as follows: Friday June 13, 20086:00 – 9:00PM Registration Saturday June 14, 20088:00AM Registration8:00AM Staging for Parade (please come early so we have time to setup the ATV’s)11:15AM ATV Parade3:00 – 6:00PM All you can eat buffet for $10.00 a person at the Union Hall provided by Zup’s of Silver Bay7:00 – 9:00PM Famous ATVAM auction9:00 – 12:00PM Dance to the “Northern Lights” 50’s, 60’s and early 70’s Please bring a canned good or staple item to donate to the Silver Bay food bank. dustin85
Do we get our T-shirts at registration that morning, or are they going to be mailed out to us? I am not all that impressed wtih atvam as of now. They wasted no time taking my payment for the parade, or sending me mass e-mail, but have yet to answer any of my questions that I have e-mailed to them.Dustin
Roofer
Who knows what they are doing. I agree with you. I thought the T-shirts were going to be mailed out, but not sure. I have emailed the president about a few things and nothing back. Just trying to help out, but I guess they don't need any suggestions from the peons. LOLNot happy, my suggestion for myself and everyone else. Lets vote-in a President and staff that will be online and talk to the public. They even have a forum, but there is only about 3 posts a year.I don't know, I don't get it. I hear what you're saying though.
reelemin
I totaly agree with both of you. They took my cash and I have no idea what to do next! Their communication needs big improvement!

SomethingFishy*
President, First Vice-President and I believe secretary are all up for election On May 2nd. However all the nominees are just the same old incumbents. Maybe some new blood would help improve ATVAM in the eyes of MN ATV'ers. I am unsure if I will attend this event, while it would be nice to bring the record to MN I am not sure if ATVAM is organized enough or capable of pulling it off. Just my opinion. dustin85
The latest number that I saw on another site was about 300 registered....there is a ways to go, but hopefully people will start getting registered now that the weather is turning nicer. dustin85
This answer was posted on another site regarding my T-shirt question:If you have pre-registered by May 9 http://www.atvparade.org you will receive your T shirt & number for riding in the parade when you register at the staging area Friday or Saturday depending on when you get up there If you have not pre-registered by May 9 you will not receive a T shirt but you still must register and get a number to ride in the parade Hope this answers you question

Paul
Correct Les, is a Woman. She is also the ATVAM Director at large and the current President of Red River Riders ATV out of Fargo/Moorhead. Les is a good friend of mine and I try and answer everyone’s questions as fast as I can as I live about 7 blocks from Les and the former Vice President of Red River Riders and a currently on the board of Directors. As I am sure most of you here realize that this is all being put on by Volunteers. Les as well as many people working on this have full time jobs as well. They are trying to keep communication as high as possible and if anyone still has any un-answered questions feel free to email me at info@redriverridersatv dot org and I will gladly get the answers for you if I do not have them already. This will be a great time for all, not to mention there will be lots of great trail riding and camaraderie as well as your chance to say you helped set a Guinness Book Record. There have been over 4000 visits to the atvparade .com HSOforum since my fiancée put it on line a couple of Months ago. It would not surprise me if that number doubles in the near future because it is getting warm out.So if anyone has any questions please ask, I usually check this forum at least every other day if not every day.Paul HagenRed River Riders ATV and Motorcycle Club

Roofer
Who puts up the atvam HSOforum? Who is in charge of the merchandise they sell? This being the 25th anniversary, there should be some things with the new logo on it. This would bring in some revenue that is much needed. I emailed the Phill Morud about it and no response. I may have something wrong with my email though. I haven't gotten a response about the atv fair either. The site has needed an update for the last couple years. I thought this would be the year. Thanks for coming to FM and sharing with us Paul.
