Here we go guys...

I compiled and maintained last years Big Cat Safari 2006 (photo board) topic and will do the same again this year. Check out the following link for last year's ginormous flatheads. Simply mind bottling. smile.gif

Last year's Big Cat Safari 2006 Photo Board

Here's the deal, Big Cat Safari 2007 is the 40lbs and over club. There's no money involved, no prizes, no contest, no fame, but you get your picture on the internet looking silly holding a big fish! smile.gif

Atta boy!

I just got a Certificate and Patch back for my White Bass I sent in about a month ago. Now I'm wondering how many more I can qualify this year.

I must have caught 15 or more qualifying crappies this late winter that I never entered. You have to do it within 30 days I think. confused.gif

Also got a honey hole of a bluegill spot up north that I might have to hit. Average gill size in this pond is 9 1/2"!! My brothers friend pulled a legitimate 12" bluegill out of this place about a week ago. I never thought I'd ever see a 12" gill in MN. Don't even ask where! wink.gif

those channels are nothing to sniff at- hopefully I can make it up to your neck of the woods at some time before the hardwater season... what did you use for bait on those pigs?

These were caught on chunks of cut suckers. If we don't get some rain I'm not sure how much longer I'll be able to get my boat in the water. The river has dropped a good four feet in the last week or so. It could get a little expensive if you know what I mean. grin.gif

I know these probably don't compare to the 40-50inch flatheads, but I thought I would post them anyway

It's all relative and those are beautiful channels. I don't know a flathead guy that would turn his nose up at those fish, especially since they usually target both species.
