I had the pleasure of netting yet another huge fish last night. This one went 44" and 45lbs. It was very very FAT. In fact we both thought it was much heavier, maybe my scale is off frown.gif

We were working the inside bend of a large turn and trying varioius depths, the baitfish seemed to be up shallow and we assumed the larger fish as well......turns out this one came from the deep side on a med sized sucker.

Good lord!

Nice job guys! My little 15 pounder from last night is pretty insignificant after Larry called me back with a 27lb. Does that one count for league too?

Since there hadn't been a league flathead over 32" yet, I thought that 31" was gonna make me some money last night. Wrong! grin.gif

Yeah Hanson, I think I know exactly how you feel. I thought I had a good shot till I heard about Dennis's fish. My bubble went "POP".

Way to go Guys.

HOly smoke.. that is a beauty...........sigh sigh......

Im heading to St Cloud Sunday morning, will be there all day, I have a school Monday morning... Looking for a place to do some fishing Sunday when I get there. Any ideas????????????/
