0 stmichael
Do you have access to a locksmith? You could call him/her to see what the cost would be to have him make you a key.
0 Valv
There are not many keys for motor ignitions. Usually hald a dozen for each brand. You can call your dealer and ask for a copy or a master key, they should give it to you free. Next time don't leave the spare still attached with original on ignition.... PS don't worry, it's a common issue, I did it too once....
0 CanoeCruiser
Heh, I deserved that! I'm sure I have the spare around 'somewhere where I will always be able to find it..'. I'll be giving the dealer a call later today...and crossing my fingers!
0 Gus
I have a spare zip tied to the steering cable up under my dash. I know this doesn't help you now but it might in the future. Good luck.
0 deacon
Why even have a key? I know someone might start your boat and drive off. Hot wiring a boat is as easy as it gets, so again why a key. Actually a couple of years ago my key broke off if the ignition, so now the key is always in. I simply use a screw driver or coin to turn the ignition and away I go! Second, no one but me knows the key is in the ignition.
0 upnorth
I keep a spare in my tackle box. If I forget the key and I didn't forget the tackle box I am golden For the most part unless I leave it docked somewhere I never take the key out.
0 Hookmaster
I have one in my tackle box and had to use it once. I also have a spare truck key and topper key on both of my boat key rings.

0 Ralph Wiggum
You got a motor for than tank?
0 CatManLee
as mentioned earlier a lot of keys from the same motor will fit in yours. The zip tied key under the dash is the only way to go. I almost never take my key out of the ignition, but the day I do, I know I'll forget it somewhere, get to the lake 2-hours away and then realize it! Luckily, I have my spare sitting under my dash...day saved! Hope you can get another key from a dealer, good luck.

0 Ralph Wiggum
Sorry, that was a personal question to Pierbridge. Just asking if he got a motor for his tank of a boat. I guess I should be more clear!

0 CanoeCruiser
Called Rapid Sport, and I guess I will either need to pull the ignition switch and get the numbers off the assembly so that they can get the correct key, or bring it up there so we can try multiple keys until we stumble across the right one.I will DEFINITELY buy a spare and take the zip-tie advice!Thank you everyone. 0 Valv
If you want you can come on over here I can try to find one for you.DO NOT disassemble remote to get switch number.....
0 crappace
I think the number you are looking for is stamped on the bottom of the ignition. I did the same thing with a Rapid Sport boat. When I went to the work bench to get a screw driver for the task, bingo, there were the keys!
