We don't plan on being there and forum policy prevents us from saying why.

Let's just say we were very popular the last time we were there. We reserved the same spot for the following year asking to expand if it was possible. Our spot was taken away and they wanted our booth in a location we didn't want. Our spot went to an Ice Team sponsor.

We'll have Fishing Minnesota and Ice Leaders staff there in other booths as noted in this thread.

Anyone know if there are discount coupons available anywhere? Seems to me last yaer I got them at one of the sporting shows or somethingh like that. Hey if I can save a buck...

Where your booth would have been wouldn't have mattered rick we would have found it and I bet you guys would be busy. Maybe you should have some fliers ready for those at the other booths or some small freebie stickers. Just a thought.

Our North Dakota Forum Staffer Jeff Dosch will be there representing Fishing Minnesota and Ice Leaders as well.

His booth number for the St. Paul Ice Fishing Show is #443 and the booth will have Dosch's Guide Service and the Great American Inn and Suites. They will be promoting their packages for the upcoming season. This would be a great time for people who are interested in Devils Lake to stop by and visit with Jeff. He is very knowledgeable and will be happy to help you out.

There are coupons in the Midwest Outdoors "Ice Breakers" edition on news stands now. See Page 69...hard to spot, but it is there. $2 off Friday and $1 off Sat & Sun I think?

Does anyone know when the "Crappie Tom" seminar will be held on Friday?

Thx,

icedog

Matt and Dennis, we seem to have a fair amount of FM members that work the booths or give seminars at this and the sportsmans shows. Is there any way we can get these guys to wear an FM sticker or something so we know who they are? It would just be pretty cool to finally figure out who some of these people are. Just my .02

CrappieTom and I will have the FM logo and our names on our shirts.

Expect to see Tom in the MarCum booth on Friday.

And I'll be in the Thorne Bros booth all day on Saturday. Today's Tackle also has their booth set-up inside Thorne Bros and I'll be there too. On Sunday I'll be at the show as well, but I'll be moving around jumping from various different booths. More than likely I'll spend most of my day at Thorne Bros and Today's Tackle again though.

I'm also working on making it there on Friday for a few hours.

Anyone who makes it to the show, please feel free to stop by and say hi. Like mnfishinguy said, it's always nice to meet some of the people we see/read here in the forums. Always nice to put a face with a few of the names...

And anyone who wants a FishingMinnesota.com hat can order one here off the site, and you can even have you user name embroidered on the side of it if you wish (contact them direct via phone if you wish to have your name on the hat) Here's a link... FM Logo Wear

You can also get a shirt if you'd like as well.

Thorne Bros has a few different options for walleye. If you want to stop by while I'm there I can run you through all the different options and help you get a feel for which one will suit you the best...

As far as any specials, I suppose you'll have to talk with the people behind the cash register grin.gif But usually Thorne Bros will offer up some deals during the Ice Show...

If anyone is looking to hang out, chat, etc.

I plan on being down at the show most of Friday evening. I have to work until 5pm and then I'll head over.

I'll have my FishingMinnesota lid on, "Hanson" embroidered on the back.

If anyone wants to plan a meeting spot and time for fellow FMers to hook up, that'd be cool! Any interest??

Ill be there all day Friday and some of Sat. Got to get back for the evening walleye bite on a local pond. Maybe we should meet by a certain booth about 6pm? How about in the corner by Marine General? We could sit and test out the new seats on the icehouses. Man the new Frabil seats are awesome. Anyone else see them?

I'll have to say I'm disappointed and can't believe there will not be a FM booth. I guess the good news is that FM staff will be scattered about so maybe we can just consider the show floor being a booth for FMers!! I will be there on Sun. looking to find a "deal". Hope to run across some of ya, see ya there!

say_der, I used the Fish Brothers tip-ups last winter and think I'm hooked for good.

Compact, self enclosed storage, tangle free and highly visible. You can set the strike sensitivity to super light. I added a set of bells to the reel and have a audible alert now too.
