Oh my God. That hook is really buried.

At first I really had to look and see just what your catch was. I thought it was just a picture of your lady. Then I noticed the hook. Man, she's a good sport to still have a smile on her face. You're a lucky guy! I could have been way worse.

Yeah. She took it like a champ. Emergency room was hysterical. Nurses asking what we were in for etc... Got smart alecky and said I was trying to use her for bait. Couldn't stop laughin...

Saved the hook. It's going in the scrapbook. Theres a strict limit of one for the species..... but some of my friends say its not always well enforced.

Your friend are right, its not strictly enforced. I have two right now They are kinda like siamese fighting fish.....you can have more then one as long as you don't have them together.

Blackjack, I've heard about people like you. Abusing and depleting the resource for the rest of us by keeping more than you can eat. I've heard the penalty can be severe if you get caught....

She was slip bobber fishing for smallies and got a snag. Gave it a good jerk (way to good) and the rig came sailing at her face. Bobber and weight went past her head but the hook didn't.

I believe there is a slot on that particular species but it's an ever adjusting slot that's directly related to alcohol consumption.

When I finally landed my "best catch ever" I decided to mount her! Much to my dismay, I am now told that I can never mount another one! I thought it would at least be reasonable to consider a different species...
