PERCHJR
Very nice indeed!!! I don't think a guy could cover to much ice in a day with that thing??? Top speed is probably 3mph, but it would be a site to see thats for sure!!! GOOD LUCK AND GOOD FISHING!!!
Mr.Seaguar
if by potential you mean tetanus just from looking at the pictures, and fear of a porcupine attack when opening the door, then yes, yes I do see potential. Although, you would be the only kid on your block with one.
Tom Linderholm
Are you sure thats a 63'?
hanson
Cheffrey-I'm not 100% sure on that. I found this sled on hsolist and it was advertised as a '63. Wouldn't surprise me if it was older.

Willy
Sweet rig, I know a guy that built a 6x10 or so fishhouse that had its own motor and tracks. Just pickup and go!
FOOT
There use to be an old guy from Austin MN who would drive every day to Lake Pepin to ice fish. His vehicle was a rusty 1957 Chevy Station Wagon. He would flop down the back tail gate and attached to the interior roof he had an approx 4x8 sheet of plywood on some type of guide system. He would pull it out, attach legs and throw a heavy canvas over it. For the floor he had a well used piece of rubber backed carpet. Fire up the heater and he was ready to go.I talked to him several times over the years. He was retired and this was his one passion. He would spend time in a boat during the summer but his first love was ice fishing, whether he caught something or not. He didn't much care for hunting anymore due to his age, which I could never get out of him. However, he said the 57' Chevy wagon was a one owner, him.Haven't seen him for many years now. I'm sure he's gone to the great beyound and still fishes every day.
Dan Thiem
I was out at Lake Zumbro one time and a plane landed on the ice near me. He then taxied around a little and got her just where he wanted it. The he gets out and drapes a canvas over one of the wings and made a nice little shack.I did go over and talk to him and he goes all over and ice fishes like that. Must be nice! fishnhooks
That thing reminds me of a couple of ice fishing rigs I saw at the Game Fair. Anyone else see them? Wish I would have taken some pics of them."hooks"
ozzie
Hooks I saw the sno-cab(?) at the game fair and that thing is awsome. It's a over sized snowmobile enclosed with fishing holes and beds!!! It floats goes 24 mph and raises and lowers to the ice. The thing would be sweet anywhere but it would be great on the bigger lakes. The only two downfalls are the price, like $35000 and you cant stand up without opening the emergency hatch/sunroof. But for resorts, guides, or if you have the money it looks like the next big thing!!!!
