If he was caught with 20 eyes over his limit we wouldnt say who is going to replace him.He broke the law and should be accountable for his actions,just like everyone else.We need to rebuild the team and just maybe all the way to the top,thats if he is found guilty first,which hasnt happened yet.

Get off your high chairs. This is not a fireable offense. Next time you speed, roll through a stop sign, or hit the light when it is red, remember you just broke the law to the same level that Tice did. Should you lose your license?

If you think people want to coach here you are mistaken. Number one Red is dirt cheap(Tice is the lowest paid coach in the league), our stadium sucks, and we have bandwagon fans.

Linehan is in Miami. I doubt he would come back here to work for Red.

My question is: Is what he did really illegal? Or is it just in violation of NFL rules? The story states that he is accused of selling them to a LICENSED ticket broker in CA. If he did it he used bad judgement, slap him with a nefty fine and move on. Is he a great coach? Most likely not, but time will tell. Did anyone suggest kicking ol' Corey Sauder (sp) out of league when he scalped his bowl tickets??? I know of SEVERAL people who sell there Vikes-Pack tickets every year to pay for their season tickets. Illegal? Yes. Worthy of lynching? I don't think so.

I have been a season ticket holder for 6 years and I sell tickets to games I cant go to for more than whats they are worth should I be put in jail or have my season tickets canceled? no! who cares what he does when you have a coach that makes the league minimum making the playoffs and other coaches makes millions of dollars winning 4 games I don't blame him he deserves to make more money as a coach the only trouble tice should be in is with the IRS thats all

I don't know why selling tickets to 2nd partys is illegal. What is the "true" definition of "scalping"?

I bought them, I own them, I feel it is then my right to re-sell them if I want.

Denny had more success but is also the reason our defense has kept us from doing anything. Tice can stay or go I don't much care but I never want to go back to the Denny era. He was a big of a fraud as anyone when it came to speaking.

It is pro sports. Lying, cheating, scandals, have and always will be part of the game. Steroids, point shaving, stick-em, illegal curves on hockey sticks, corked bats, etc... Tice is being made a scapegoat over something that is petty compared to many things that go on. Nothing he is being accused of has ever changed the outcome of a game

Tice is finally putting together a team with the right type of players. We are finally going to have a team without underachieving, bad attitude head cases (at least as much as we can expect for pro athletes).

We are also going to have a defense. A year or two from now, everyone will be saying what a good job Tice is doing.

I'm not a huge fan of Tice either, but I have to admit he's going in the right direction. I say give Tice another shot...they seem to be building a team that can finally go all the way!!

BTW, Scott Linehan is overrated!! He had all the weapons in the world, but couldn't consistantly put a productive offense on the field. I'm glad he's off to Miami.

In case you haven't heard, they traded the pot smoking, traffic cop running down law breaker to Oakland. That was the meaning of my post. I’m sure we still have others that are not exactly role models, but we are in the process of putting together a different team.

One question for Bottomfeeder...How many NFL teams have 100% model citizens? The answer is Zero. The Vikes have their share of problems but we can go down the list of lawbreakers and drug users over the years. Farve, LT, Jamal Lewis, Ray Lewis, Rae Carruth, almost the whole Dallas Cowboys team of the '90s, Chumura, Moss....the list can go on and on but there are a lot of big names there covering many teams. Also, if you would notice that short list covers some of your precious Green and Gold players. I guess if we get really upset with Tice we can always hire some of those upstanding Green Bay fans to kill his dog for us as they are the only fans in the NFL that have experience with that type of thing.
