vikingmeatwad
Does anyone know how much gander cuts it's clearance down to? The clam 2k is $150 now and was 200 before.Wondering if you think they would cut much more off? Thanks
Gus
I don't think they will cut it down much more. They will just leave the price at that until they sell out. I've sale shopped for a few years and they all seem to hit a rock bottom price and hold until it sells. If you are able to get the floor model you might do better. I THINK gander will discount you an additional 10% for floor models if you ask. At least that's what I was told when I was buying a floor model tree stand last fall.I was able to pick up the last (at the Forest Lake store) Clam Pro for $199 this week. I was happy with that. Matt Breuer
I would wait it out... I got my one man trap pro for $60 two years ago, they clearanced the floor model at Wal-Mart at 2 am and it just so happens that I was there.I also bought and sold two one man scouts last year for $75 each at Gander on clearance. A buddy got his trap guide for $150 that day as well. They are on a set cut schedule, if they still have 'em, they keep cutting.
Borch
Quote:mudman and borch, are those the prices for the whole setup (sled and canvas)? That's how it was displayed. Sign didn't break it down and I didn't talk to a slaesman. I thought it was a very good price. Just didn't have any room to haul it home. They also had the clam fishtrap pro for $169 if I recall correctly.
Captain B.R.K
IF anyone is looking for a new chisel, I picked up the Jiffy Mille Lac's chisel at Fleet Farm (St.Cloud store) for $25. I believe these are regularly $40 or more!!
IceHawk
Reeds sports in Brainerd has all ice rods at 30% off and ice reels at 20% off. I picked up a nice 8 ball bearing reel and a St-Croix legend ice rod with the spring attached for a great price.
Diesel D
Last Thursday Gander in Maple Grove had 1 Clam 5600 marked at $199.99. The Manager said he would take $150.00 to get it off of the floor. Display model only, assembled. They didn't have it marked at $150.00 so it might still be there.Good Luck!
metrojoe
I was at the Gander in Maplewood last night and they had all the ice fishing stuff busted down and were setting up open water displays. Lots-o-savings on the ice fishing gear.
