Urlacher??? You are nuts if you think we can trade Moss within the division!!!!!! We can't cover much of any recievers and you want to face him twice a year within our division? Good Lord the guy would catch Rice in TD's in two years playing against us all the time.

Urlacher would be a good guy to add. Only way to do it though is free agency or a three team trade. NO WAY you can let Moss stay in the NFC, let alone the North...

Sorry Fubar,

If you think you can trade that useless piece of ghetto trash with a fro for an upstanding quality individual like Brian Urlacher you probably live up to your "moniker", which just so happens was my intramural team name back in college. Have you heard about the Randy Moss candy bar...You open it up and it tells you how good it is! I think that Mr. Urlacher will retire a Monster of The Midway and join the ranks of Dick Butkus and Mike Singletary. The man has class...Randy Moss can't spell class. YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD....YES!

I hardly ever agree with people from Illinois, however I will agree that Randy is classless and Urlacher seems to be a quality person. But don't forget that some teams (Vikings) will occasionally overlook the dark side of some of these players if they have a huge amount of talent. I'm sure that there are plenty of teams that would love to add Randy Moss to their corp of receivers. I realize that Chicago is so stacked at the WR position that they wouldn't even consider going after a slug like Moss. tongue.gif

Maybe Moss and Terrell could go to driving school together.

Bears: Terrell locked down and later released

THE NEWS

Bears' wide receiver David Terrell finally appeared in court several hours after his scheduled traffic hearing, according to the Daily Herald. However, the Cook County judge ordered Terrell to spend time in the court lockup while his bond money was processed. Terrell was released a short time later and referred to the situation as "a miscommunication."

OUR VIEW

It's a good thing for Terrell that failure to show up on Sundays is not a crime, because he'd probably be serving a life sentence. The former No. 1 pick has been a flop since the Bears selected him in 2001. He has one year remaining on his contract, but there is plenty of speculation that he will be released before then.

I heard that its almost certain Red will have the team sold before the superbowl. In that case we would have an owner willing too spend some $$. So why dont we hang on too Moss and use the 25-30 million in cap room too go get some defense in here. A good middle LB and a solid safety. I dont think Phillip Buchanon and the raiders 1st rd pick is enough. If the vikings are really serious about trading Moss then Charles Woodson should be on the table. I could handle Winfield and Woodson on the outside. Get a good LB in free angency. Use the 7th overall pick and get Mike Williams the reciever from USC. And use your later first round pick on defense.

I tend to agree that it may be time to let him move on but the problem is that it is becoming apparant that defense wins, so will there be a team that is really willing to give up some great defensive tallent for one reciever? I think that Burleson is going to be a great reciever for us and that him and Robinson can maybe handle the job of the starting two, but I comes down to what can we get!!!! We cant just give up true tallent for a draft pic we hope works out. We have seen enough flops in Viking drafts!!!!!!!

Here we go with another football fan saying how his team is classier than yours. Please wanabepackerfan.

Urlacher, like the papers say is overrated.

Injury prone.

Hardly played all year.

Paris Hilton.

Moss didn't talk to the media all year up until a couple of weeks ago. His #'s being better than any other reciever through 7 years say how good he is.

Donk?

What? Did you read my post? Where did I say we do not need a leader at linebacker? I had to read my post over twice agian to try to figure out what you are talking about. I stated that we DO need new linebackers, get rid of the non-leaders we have now!

Children,

If you don't think Randy Moss is the best wide receiver in the game, all I can say is, what are you smoking? Sure he's P'Oed and unsure if he wants to stay here, he's tired of playing for a team with no committment to winning.

Red is the villian on the Vikings, not Randy Moss and it's not hard to imagine what he would do if Brian Belich gets him in Baltimore. Remember the time before Coach Green was run outa town? He had one bad season and now we have one of the worst coaches in the leauge. Everyone wanted a white guy, well now you got him. So becareful what you wish for, for you shall surely get it.

Trade Randy Moss? Ya then we can watch him in the pro bowl for the next 10 years. So he walked off the field with 2 seconds left, did the Vikes get the ball? So he did a fake moon to the packers, I have been to lamebue field, they do it all the time up in the stands....get over it.

If Randy goes somewhere else it will be one of the darkest days in Minesota sports history and believe me, I have seen them all.

Most of you weren't even alive when the Vikings lost all them super bowls, you don't know what suffering is all about. Keep Randy Moss, or we'll regret it forever.

Randy Moss only runs certain routes. Does not like to run routes where he might get hit. If the ball isn't going to him he moseys along. The last game you could see him ducking a hit rather than catching the ball. Terrell Owens is the best receiver in the NFL. He will go anywhere, anytime and catch the ball. He is easily worth two of Moss, maybe more.

Musky,

All you said has been in debate about Moss forever and I would agree with much of it but I do believe that it is blown way out of proportion. That said, if he is only playing half-a$$ and has better stats that TO throughout his career, is TO really worth two of him. Just a different angle.

Your infatuation with the greatest receiver through 7 years in NFL history is obviously jealousy. Your nocks on Moss are that he has no class and then when you compare him to TO and say he is better is kinda funny. TO has less class than the green bay rapist coach. GB has never had a player with the talent of Moss and you can't stand it. The closest GB player talent wise was Terry Glenn.

I see the pack are putting Majikowski into their hall of fame, that is hillarious. How pathetic of a "History" do you have to have to honor this guy as one of your greats.

you don't have a clue do you? every time you post something on here you make no sense what so ever.

if moss played for the packers you'd be ripping him so bad i'd have to put you on ignore (i should anyway).

why don't you take a little road trip and come on over to green bay and go through the hall of fame, it might just open your blind, narrow minded eyes! ever hear of don hudson?

tell me all about your viking history would ya? i'll help you out, losers!!!!!!

Easy turbo, I think you might have some rage issues.

What did I say that doesn't make sense? The pack is putting Majikowski in their hall of fame and I don't think he was that good. Opinions vary, welcome to America.

By the way it is Don Hutson.

The Packer Hall of Fame is very well done. I went on a tour of it this last summer while I was in Green Bay. But thier ya go with the past history again.

Remember when the pack won the division title in '04-'05 season and the vikings got a better draft pick than the packers. And remember the first round of the playoffs the pack lost to the Viks in the first ever playoff game against each other and at Lambou field.

How's that for a past History statement.

MJR is that true or are you just yanking the guy's chain??? Don "MAGICMAN" in their hall of fame? For real? That is hilarious...

Do the Pack have a history to be proud of? Yes. Does 6 years and 10,870 yards qualify for a Hall of Fame of any kind? Not in my opinion. It is the Packer HOF and if they choose to put Majik in it that is absolutely their perogative, but I would not want a proud place like that watered down with a fairly average and nondescript career.

Yeah, I kind of questioned the Majikowski induction, but he did play 6 seasons for the Packers and ranks in the top 5 of quite a few passing categories and had pretty good numbers during the 1989 season. To be honest though, I questioned the Bennett induction more than I did Majikowski induction.

You have to remember also that this is a team Hall of Fame not an NFL Hall of Fame, so you aren't comparing value, stats, etc with other players in the NFL, but to other players who have played within that organization.

Actually the Vikings have had a higher draft pick than the Packers for the past three years, I'm sure one more year won't make that big of a difference. Maybe one of these years it will finally pay off and they will be able to win the NFC North with the talent they are drafting.

Ok, lets look in to the future. Farve gone, Green fumbling as always, Javon Walker tears up his knee, Davenport [PoorWordUsage]ing in closets. Future does not look as bright there either. As always we can go round and round.
