Snow??

Low temps and snow predicted here (Park Rapids, MN) on Thursday and Friday. Maybe the water temps will get down to normal and ice will be here sooner that later.

Too bad you can't predict the weather ....then you could quit guiding and just move to Vegas Have seen above average temps predicted as well as below average temps. The good thing is the Council of Squirrels have predicted below for this winter and their track record is as good as the so called experts

It snowed Friday night before opening of waterfowl in the winni area so nothing suprises me. I mean really we live in Minnesota

I'd never try to "predict" the weather...shoot, I rarely say anything about a meteorologists predictions! However, the arrival of cold weather is welcome in my camp.

Whether the ice arrives early, at average pace or late, we're all anticipating walking on water.

Snow? I believe it! I had my Ice Armor on the other day in my boat! Glad I did. Hopefully we'll have a cold fall so we can be on the ice in late November early December here.

I'm here on Sand now & we just pulled the dock about 9:30 this morning.Just got the boat put away yesterday when it started to rain(about 11) which quickly turned to snow.It's still blowing some light snow around but nothing on the ground.Got pretty wet yesterday & decided to wait with dock.Found a few smaller crappies,a couple(15-16) walleye late last week & 3 nicer wally's along with some good gill's early this week.From what I've seen in the last week or so this lake has just turned over or about to.Maybe doing it right now.

Snow flakes and sleet falling in Detroit Lakes, lets hope this drops the lake temps and the cooling keeps coming! About 50 more days and we should be on the hard water!

We got snow twice in the past 2 weeks. Water temps on Lake Granby are still in the 50's. It will be Christmas before the lake freezes over, but the ponds should be good by thanksgiving.
