a little olive oil, then sprinkled with mrs dash southwest chipotle and mrs dash lemon pepper. first time and really good!. normally i use regular lemon pepper and cajon powder but both have salt. reducing it.

Besides a lot of pork these days has salt already added to it. Hormel "always tender" is one that does.

Good job on the weber Dave. I am worried I would get it too hot. Practice makes perfect I guess.

I find it pretty easy to regulate temperature on a Weber. I had an off brand elcheapo kettle grill a few years back that was impossible to keep temps down on. I also find that if I have a problem with temps being too hot, royal oak briquettes are the best charcoals to use. They are harder to get lit but they burn cooler than lump or other briquettes like Kingsford. I like lump charcoal for most of my grilling and smoking tasks but to keep temps down for an extended period of time in a grill or other non-dedicated smoker I will use Royal Oak.

I would grab a used one somewhere. smile suckers and salmon on the smoker right now

You can find used Webers on C r a i g s l i s t that are in good shape because someone bought one a year or two ago and decided it's too much work but when you can get a brand new one almost anywhere that sells them for $99.00, I find it's hardly worth the bother.
