Best Portable Heater, Big Buddy, Dyna-glo Or Mr. Heater Sunflower, Big Buddy Heater??

I have a Mr. Heater and it works great.  I have never used a Dyna-glo so I cant really comment on that but I will say that my Mr. heater has never given me any problems even on the coldest days.

I had a couple Big Buddy heaters and for the most part they work good but I'm looking for options

I'm looking for a simpler more dependable heater.

Not a lot of choices.  Big Buddy or sun heater? 

 

I have both. I've heard a lot of folks complain about the Buddy heaters. The Sun heater works great but it seems to put out more fumes and burns holes in anything it touches.

Funny thing, I got my big buddy at a garage sale for $5 bucks.  Some guy dropped it off the back of his truck. I picked it up on a chance. Brought it home, looked it over, cleaned it up, ordered a new front grill for $15, tested it for leaks, and put a small metal flame wind guard around the pilot flame and it's been working great. For $20 bucks I love it.

Mr Heater portable buddy. Simple, safe and does the job. Get them on sale for $69. Normal price is $70-$80 which still isn’t bad. I’ve run them off a 1lb, 5lb or 20lb with a hose and filter. Multiple options to fit your needs for tank size.

all I run is the portable buddy with one pounders that I refill. works dandy in my one man and was also fine when I had the hub.
