Then why isn't Denny Green still the coach?

Was Ponder head and shoulders better in 2012 than Bridgewater in 2014? The W-L record would seem to indicate he was. Maybe they should give him another shot based on the fact that W-L is all that matters.

Finally a voice of reason DTro. Stats only matter to fantasy football geeks, engineers and people who believe the dump that ESPN spews out. Big Dave, The team had a better record with Ponder than this team did with Bridgewater. Does that mean Ponder is a better q.b than Bridgewater? No it means the team, all 54 of them was better. The individualism of team sports drives me crazy, especially pertaining to quarterbacks. The talking hairdos who broadcast this garbage have been doing this for years, just look at some the side footers on ESPN when they list a q.b against another q.b. Absolutely ridiculous.

Let me rephrase that, the only stat that should matter to fans is W-L. Every stupid little argument comes down to winning.

Just win baby.

That's a simplistic view. as fans, every "stupid little argument" comes down to figuring out how to get more wins but for the owners it is all about making a profit. Sometimes the way to do that is more wins but sometimes it isn't. It's all about selling hope.

Lately down here every stupid little argument, no matter what the thread, has involved ponder and manziel.

The owners don't matter at all, unless your PF, in which case it's all that matters.

For me, I can't say much bad about bridgewater. I'll stop there because a few posters down here can't stand anyone saying anything positive about a vikings QB.

Speaking of Teddy... does anyone here watch Black Mirror (it's on Netflix now)? The protagonist of the second episode, 15,000,000 merits, reminded me an awful lot of bridgewater.

Talk about a hypocrite and a fraud, LMIT always bashes the Vikes for drafting raw players or guys with character issues but bashed the Vikes for not drafting Foosball at #8, then bashed some more when Cleveland "tricked us" and traded up to get Foosball.

I'd expect more from you LMIT, the guy you finally decide to come out for and pour your heart and soul to us about is Johnny Foosball?

Regardless, it's tough to enlighten the type of people who play checkers when I'm playing chess.

Limit is the only competitor to bring a chess set to a checkers tournament...thereby declaring himself the winner. On a positive note (part of my 2015 resolution), he and johnny f-up are both very durable.

      I just figured that it is easy enough to just get a 3 bank so when the boat is not in use I can keep all 3 batteries charged. I have not bough a charger yet, maybe I will give it some more thought. Edit: After thinking this over, with the size, weight, and heat output of the charger (as well as the cost) I think it makes sense to just buy a 2 bank charger, I have a smaller charger i can use on the starting battery when the boat is sitting at home. Forgive me, for i am a retired engineer and I have to obsess over everything...

      Congrats on the motor!  I think you’ll like it.   I can’t say much on the charger location but I’ve seen them under the lid in back compartments and under center rod lockers.  160 degrees is more than I expected to hear.   Curious why you’re opting for a 3 bank charger with a 24V trolling motor.  Unless you don’t feel you be running you big motor enough to keep that battery up as well?

      I did buy an Minnkota Ulterra, thanks for the recommendations. I had a bunch of Cabela"s bucks saved up, which helped. Now i need to get an onboard battery charger. Where do you guys mount these things in your boat? The manufacturer I am looking at {Noco genius) says tht their 3-bank charger will run at 160 degrees, seems like a lot of heat in an enclosed compartment? Thanks for any input on this.

      Wasn't terrible at a state park beach. Antelope island maybe.  I wouldn't recommend it as a beach destination tho.  Figured I was there, I'm getting in it.

      The water looked and smelled disgusting with hundreds of thousands of birds sh*tting in there.  About as gross as the Salton Sea. When I duck hunted there I didn't even want to touch the water.

      It's kinda gross with the algae in the summer but I got in it anyway.  Wanted to see the increased bouyancy at work.  You can kinda tuck yourself into a ball and you'll just float with your head above water.  When dry off you look diamond encrusted with the salt.

      We went to the flats too. I dipped a tire on the rental car onto it just to say I’ve been there,but it was still pretty soft from winter melt. After seeing some moron in a BMW suv get dragged out of the muck I had no intention of repeating his stupidity.
