Not sur if there was one positive.

Sure was a positive. You got another terrific performance out of Everson Griffen again today. I told you rubes for years that he was much better than that loser JA, and he sure put on a display today. Just think if he would have KW and PW in their prime like Jared did. Griffen has almost no help on the line and he still gets there, and unlike Jared he can play the run. And today he did it against a very good player.

Kalil needs to go on the bench and try to get healthy. He is doing nothing out there.

And Charles Johnson is sure becoming a nice little surprise. Lot better than when they blew the draft on CP.

I dont know if he is truly hurt or if he has the Jared Allen phantom injury syndrome. They keep saying his right knee is giving him lots of problems. It looks like it too. Its like he cant move his right leg very good. Either way he is not doing us any good out there, but I am guessing its a severe lack of options.

The first quarter and part of the second we looked fairly well but after that they didn't seem to want to do much. Whats up with Claire walsh, is he pretty much an indoor kicker, it looked like the holder had the ball tilted wrong but I doubt he would have made it anyhow.

It looked like it moved pretty good on that last TD when he was about the 3rd or 4th guy there to celebrate after running 87 yards... smirk

Zimmer needs to tighten up on the d-backs every pass within 10 yards those guys were wide open.

Everson is looking like a beast and that receiver off the street is coming along nicely too. Overall it was a disgusting game but they pulled it off.

Kalil needs to put on some vagasil and step up or go home.

Still a W after making a ton of mistakes. The most important thing for this team is Bridgewater playing well. He looked fairly sharp, and did a great job of checking into the screen play against the cover 0 blitz. I think the ironic part is the Vikings secondary likely was playing off the whole game to avoid getting burned on a screen to Harvin in the same manner.

Hate being the Debbie Downer on your Viking parades... I saw a whole different game... I saw very mediocre defense (except E.G.) barely able to slow down a very mediocre offense... I saw a Vikings offense that overall did not play anything above average... The o/line is still horrid, Where's Ruolph and what is with Walsh? Johnson WILL be a stud...! I believe they stole him off the Packers practice squad. He was an undrafted rookie... Hard to believe. The Vikings capitalized on the Jets mistakes and were able to get points that way. I get it... Take them where they come, but If the Jets were better at fundamental football, they would have won that game. The Vikes barely beat a 2-10 team... None of their wins have come against a team with a winning record, the Detroilet game will show where the Vikings really are. They need to get a win to show they are anything but sub-par.

I don't know if they are gong to find a big play receiver that wants to come here. They need to shore up that line and give a QB a chance. Kalil will loose you games as he almost did yesterday giving up the safety. I didn't even attempt to stop it yesterday. Horrible play by him. Time for someone to step up and outplay him. I think Teddy is doing great for the time he's given and is growing each game. The team is at least fun to watch.

The team is at least fun to watch.

Maybe when they are playing teams like Carolina, and the Jets.

This team is a mess, but they have been lucky to scrape a few wins together so far. The Oline has been terrible, and if I were in charge, there wouldnt be a one that would come back next year.

There can't be a worse offensive line in the game is there? I don't think I have watched another game this year where the pocket immediately collapses play after play. They need a big play receiver and major changes in this o-line in the off season.

Here we go again......

1. The offensive line looks so bad cause the play calling is terrible. Predicatble

2. The play calling is terrible cause of what the QB is capable of.

3. We dont have a RB.

4. Teams just tee off and rush the passer cause all we ever do is drop back 5 or 7 steps and wait for these 15-20 yard routes to develop and a QB who cant get the ball there anyways.

5. We barely ever do any rollouts to move the pocket.

6. Ya, they are not that good, but the guys they are protecting and the coaches sure arent doing them any favors.

7. High draft picks like Rudolph and Patterson have done NOTHING.

And tell me how we need this BIG PLAY receiver. It seems to work so well for Arz (Larry Ftiz) Detroit (Calvin Johnson) Cincinnati (AJ Green) Atlanta (Julio Jones) Dallas (Dez Bryant) Randy Moss (Min/NE) Andre Johnson (Houston) Demarius Thomas (Denver)

Big play recievers are only good for cashing big checks. They are not near as important as a good QB to win a championship. See GB, Seattle, New England.

Over these last 3 games or so, I can't remember a completion against us that wasn't on Josh Robinson.

On the other hand Xavier Rhodes has looked great.

In several instances you've seen Robinson coming in to clean up a safety's mistake when over the top coverage was blown. I'm not riding Robinson's jock by any means, but Zimmer turning him from the worst corner in the league to nearly serviceable in one year is amazing. He's had some great plays this year, some poor ones, too, but last year there were ZERO great plays. If he continues to improve at the same rate he'll be a solid corner by this time next year. Big if, perhaps...but that is saying something as I was his biggest critic last year. Zimmer is an amazing defensive coach. That much is crystal clear.
