Spielman should be fired

What the bleep was that tonight??

You cant tell me we couldnt have somehow moved back still gotten Barr, and then still found a way to take Manziel if they really wanted him. I would gladly trade our draft for what Cleveland accomplished. We might as well have just kept Junkson or keep rolling with Ponder. At least they didnt give much up to get Barfwater.

I did find his latest highlight reel for those of you interested.

And replaced with who? An aging, angry, bitter farmer from western Minnesota who hasn't spent a day in a National Football League career?

You cant possibly know how well this draft went(is going). Bring it back up at the end of next season. They got 2 first round picks, LB and QB, the biggest needs on this team(arguably).

Not another Spielman should be fired thread 10 minutes after the 1st round of the draft lol.

Zimmer got one of his guys and Norv got one of his guys in the 1st round.

Might have to wait a couple years to see how it pans out?

We haven't even seen full potential of last years 1st round picks he should of been fired for grin

They got their THRID choice at QB. Not one, and not two. They were both gone. For anyone to say they got there guy is not true. They had to settle for Bridgewater cause the other two were gone. And you can mark it right now. They will NEVER EVER win a championship with Bridgewater!

Ok, maybe they wont win with Teddy. And, maybe they will. There is no way for you to know that, especially since your football mind is so puny.

How can you possibly know that teddy wasn't their guy? I can GUARANTEE that you do NOT have inside info on the Vikings organization. That is the only for sure fact that has come out of this draft.

I am not wild about Teddy either, but I am still a Vikings fan. The first thing I wanted done was a new coaching staff. And that happened. Im going to at least give these guys a chance.

I also will give them a chance. Great too see a new coaching staff as the one we had was not getting the job done.

It will take a few years to turn this team around.

I have to believe in what they picked as I am not on the inside track of the team in regards to who will fit well with the team's plans for this season with new coaching.

These draft pic's are a shot in the dark more times than not. You can pick one that everyone believs will be the next MVP and they are not around very long. Then a player that goes in round 2 late is a great player for a team. Have to give it some time to develop most players into the teams plans.

I am glad Ol Buck is not making our picks for the draft.

They really might have got their guy with Teddy, he was the only QB that basically lived with them for almost a week straight heading into the draft, that would be one heck of a smokescreen lol. He's not my choice but there is a good chance he was theirs.

I guess it makes sense, Jared Allen is gone so Buck needs to find something else to have illogical hatred towards.

So Buck, how do you know that Teddy was #3 on their list? Do the vikes call and consult with you on their draft board? I'm just curious as to how you have this inside information that seems to contradict everything else that has been reported.

Why would they spend so much time with Teddy and so little with the other QB's if they really preferred the other 2?

If they really loved the other 2 QB's more than Teddy they could have gotten one. To out bid the Browns they'd likely have had to give up their 2nd, one 3rd, and maybe a late round pick. If they loved Johnny as much as you claim they'd have made the deal. Bortles at #3 was probably out of their reach and would have been a stupid deal in any case. To go from 8 to 2 to get in front of Jacksonville would have cost way too much if it was even possible, and Bortles is still a huge gamble. Not worth the risk at #2.

the Barr pick is just the biggest question to me...........I'd never heard of him...........or even a rumor of him. I figured they could've gotten him in the 3rd or 4th???

Okay after looking, maybe not that late as he is McShay's #25 ranked draftee..........but still that was a reach.....

Paul Allen has been slurping him for a while. He may have been a bit of a reach but the Vikes picked up a 5th round pick and got the guy they were targeting. Barr graded out as the 3 or 4th best pass rusher in the draft despite being described as "raw". He fills a need at LB. Not a terrible pick IMO

I'm no NFL guru, but I am pretty excited about Bridgewater. He looks to develop into a very good quarterback. I really hope the Viking's coaching staff take him in the right direction. He could very possibly be the winning future of our team.

It is at #8.

You don't draft "raw" players or guys that "you can coach-up" at #9. SMH.

And Johnny Football is ready to plug right in and produce. He doesnt need to be "coached up" his game transfers right into the pros....Yeah right! Oh so easy LMIT

You guys it(Lmitout) doesnt actually like manziel. If it thought Johnny was the answer, why would it have been pushing so hard for him to come to minny? It hates all things Minnesota, so shouldn't it be happy with a BUST like Bridgewater?

Hmm. I think it will ride this bit to the death.

Pretty funny nonetheless.

Cordarrelle Patterson was labeled as "raw" and needing to learn the nuances of the pro game.... Sometimes you just take the players with the most upside. At #9 Barr was LB with the most upside.

I believe we're talking about a defensive position here. I get that you're a Vikings fan, and it's difficult at times, but please try to keep up.
