Think its campmor, ordered a pair of Native glasses that were originally $90 for half that. Very happy with my purchase, best pair of glasses I've owned. They have quite a few, just have to watch out for the sizes, many of them are the small or xxlarge size, I guess with expensive glasses are actually sized, never knew that before researching on that buy.

Costco has a variety of name brand sunglasses at good prices. They also sell their own brand polarized sunglasses for like 25 to 30 dollars. (don't remember exact price). I like mine fine. Also the Maui Jims I bought there.

You want something comfortable that work well, or something cool? cool costs more. Actually the ones I bought from a kiosk in the mall are ok.

All I ask is that you dudes carefully select these glasses. I've been wearing polarized lenses for a long time and I simply want it understood there are polarized glasses and then there are POLARIZED glasses. Wear the the "pretend" ones on the tarpon or bonefish flats or standing in stern of a sportfisher watching baits bouncing in the sunshine and you'll learn the difference.

Now, ya'll carry on. smile

I suppose one could check the quality of the polarization by taking two pairs and look at a light through two lenses. Rotate one lens and see how dark the light gets when they are oriented at 90 degrees.

In my opinion the amount of hype in the sunglass world is exceeded only by that in the audio cable world.

How does one tell Polarized from POLARIZED!!!!!?

Try on a few pair at the store until you find a brand and style you like best, than go home and find it on Amazon for probably half price. I bought a pair of Bolle's for around $55 that I have been very happy with.

I don't doubt there are difference between polarized lenses and POLARIZED lenses, but the biggest difference between a mid-range pair compared to a $20 pair are the frames. I can wear the Bolle's for hours and stay comfortable. The cheaper pairs always pinch or dig-in somewhere - some to the point you can't stand to wear them any longer.

One of the things my dermatologist asked me when I went in to get a mole checked out is "Do you wear good sunglasses?" She said there is a difference in eye protection between cheap polarized sunglasses and good ones. Just passing along what my doc said. I have some Native's and they were $150 so not top end but I sure do like the difference in quality over the $20 pairs I used to buy. I find I take much better care of these than I did with cheap sunglasses and they will probably be cheaper in the long run than buying 1 or 2 new pair of cheapos a year.

I need a pair of polarized glasses, but don't want to be too mad if I lose them...what glasses would you guys recommend?? Thanks

SpiderWire Sunglasses for $13.47 a pair. I have had great luck with them. I use to get them at Walmart but havent seen them there lately.

Yes I go to Walmart so feel free to shoot me on site...

So for 14 bucks it may and IMO would be worth a shot to you.

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
