same for me jerkbait. Usually I have a transition of equipment that is transferred over from winter to summer. It's going to lead to that moment when I'm in the boat and I'm mad that I don't have the vertical jigging spoons in the boat! At least I'm not too anxious...made it up to the Rainy once already. Trip planned for next weekend too

My boat is in the middle of a list of maintenance and upgrades this spring. Hopefully it will be water ready by this weekend.

So far

Completed:

LED's for the trialer:

Repaired a leaking brake line on the trailer;

Replaced the water pump impeller;

In progress:

Wiring a bulb to a gauge (had a new gauge installed 2 years ago and they didn't wire the light in it at the dealership);

Replacing the stereo;

Replace cigarette lighter socket;

New tires (have them just need to put them on and rotate an old one to the spare);

Toying with the idea of replacing the live well plumbing and pump later this year. Possibly upgrade the speakers in the summer.

Ha. My last boat ride of the year in November looked just like that. Funny thing is we caught squat until it starting snowing on us. Then we boated some nice eaters and a 28.5".

I have my new structure scan mounted and all rigged up. So fired up to try it out. And yet I heard there was 30" of ice on the lake we fish as of last Thursday.

Updated the list.

I have to say, having bluetooth in the boat is going to be sweet for streaming music. I should have done that a long time ago.

The funny part is this is our only vehicle with bluetooth. The boat is also our newest vehicle at 9 years old. Priorities. smile

Open water fishing never closes in MN.

Fishing Opener is not that big of deal really.

Walleye can be legally targeted 12 months a year. Along with most every other species from a boat in ice free water.

Just have to be willing to travel.
