I call this one "the mystery box" wink

notice the gold foil tape and the soft muttled brown paper finish. whistle

it got a little soggy when I swam it. An I will admit it just kind of sat there and bobbed... maybe listed to one side a little. I have seen those sturgeon guys over in sconny use stranger things.

the contents of the mystery box are not mine to post. Lets just say its no longer in my posession. grin

Ok,

Last one for a while. I need to get back to some diamond willow projects before the spring gets here.

This is another one that is going to skip my collection and make the long trip north.

"The Laker" decoy ended up at 12" long nose to tail and a about 4" tall from the belly to the tip of the fin.

Just make sure if falls in the lake this winter wink

This lake trout is likely to hang out on a shelf. It's weighted to swim like everything else I make, so if it does get out it will work.

But it sports a high gloss final coat more suited for display.

I too, have played around with colored golf ball and spinners to. They work alright. I got ahold of of some ladies golf balls that were different colors. I really like those above.
