Peterson chasing the record

AP for sure, the vikes were like 31st was it in the rankings when the season started, Denver wasn't near the bottom. How many years has the league been going ? He's the was it 7th RB to go for 2K yardage ? AP changed games, other teams dared CP to beat them and AP ran through them and I'd be fine with him not winning for sure if we didn't make the playoffs, although he would be right there anyway in the voting.

The MVP should be on the field for all important plays, in fact the MVP should impact all important plays

Well, in that case Peyton is out of the running too. He didn't play on all of those important defensive plays against SD when they were down 20 points or whatever it was. Nor did Peyton run the ball on all of those running plays. Heck, the way I see it, he watched just like AD did on those 3rd downs. So, since neither Peyton or AD can win, who wins now?

I understand, you're probably a Bronco's fan. So am I. But AD should win this award, or at least share it with Manning. Both of them are more than deserving. (Plus Peyton was given a playoff team, not a 3-13 team)

Wrong, not a Donkey fan. By the way, Peyton calls the plays, runs the O, and perhaps you did not notice the passes on those 3rd down plays. Peyton throws them. Peyton IMO should not be MVP, comeback player for sure.

Who should win? Aaron Rodgers IMO.

i'd give the award to whoever is prescribing the HGH for ap.

I agree with you to a certain extent, but not just in Adrian's case. Humans can't get as big and as fast as NFL players are just by saying their prayers and eating their vitamins like Hulk Hogan did. laugh

So AP has his sights set on overdrive for 2013...

Quote:
“Oh, without a doubt. Without a doubt,” said Peterson, who had 210- and 199-yard games against the Packers this season. “Just considering everything that I know, when I try to track back on different games that I had early on in the season and sitting out the third and fourth quarters in one or two games … (There were) 35 carries more he had (in 1984) than I had. You know, it would have been nice to get it but I’m not too bummed about it because I’m able to factor all of those things in.

“It will just give me something else to shoot for next year. My goal won’t be to break Eric Dickerson’s single-season record. It’s going to be trying to get 2,400, 2,500 yards. That’s just how I look at things. With me setting it that high, then, obviously, breaking his record will happen.”
