Ritt13
I myself am a huge fan of the Jason Mitchell Meat Stick. Not only does the bright flexible tip make it a great rod for visible bites, it's extremely sensitive too. One time a caught a 3 inch bluegill on it, never saw the tip move but I felt something biting. So what are some of your favorite sunfish and crappie setups? Sam Smith
I like HT's Ice Blue 18 its a super sensitive ultra light and its compact size makes it easy to fish in a tight space plus can't beat the price (<$10). Last winter I even landed a 24 in LG Mouth with it.

FisH_SLaYer24
Either the Thorne Power Noodle or the Quiverstick. Two well built, high quality rods. I can't wait to try the TripWire with the new Black Betty 6061 Reel this winter. It may become my new favorite combo for landing slab crappies and bull gills
OnAFly
I've got a TB Power Noodle that get's used more than any other rod I own. Best panfish rod I've ever used.
dan z
Meat stick 24 or 28 dont matter. Use both 28 is better outside of the house
Mr.Seaguar
The Schooley! I prefer green Schooleys, but I am also happy icing fish with either red or Yellow Schooleys.

icefishingmn
Just get something with a soft tip and a stiffer back bone, Frabill and HT have preatty good ones for a cheap price, but yes a meat stick is a REALLY good rod!

CJH
Meatsticks are great rods at a good price!! That's my choice!!
mww24
My Thorne brothers power noodle is always in my hands. Just bought one with recoils and cant wait to see if its better than standard guides. They are super fun to fish with and can handle some big fish. If its not those its a spring bobber rod. The st croix legends are my favorite and the Jason Mitchell spring rod is nice to at a cheaper price.
hamms-scooter
Bros Quick tip frabill in 27 and 32 inch are fun rods with lots of backbone. I also use some ht ice blues and jason mitchell. I love to use the schooley reels and might try one of those black bettys this year.

pushbutton
When I was picking up the black betty, bought the combo because the rod really felt solid....have not used it yet, but sure seems like it will be a great rod for the add on price.
