Michael's Buck

Recommended Posts

My son, Michael, shot this beautiful Ottertail County buck on Saturday morning at 9:30. It was 20 yards away with one shot from the .300 Savage. It never twitched again. Probably the nicest opener ever! 35 degrees, no wind, no rain or snow, ducks chattering all over. Wow! We went 3 for three..a doe at 8, a smaller buck at 8:30 and this big one at 9:30. He has had a heck of a year...a 30 inch Walleye in June and now this wall hanger! Not a huge inside spread, but the tines are 10 to 11 inches long!
