I phone update

I updated my phone to iOS 6 and the Internet is slower all get out. Is there any help for me or I'm I suffering until they fix all the bugs? Thanks chad

Definitely not iOS. It makes the Internet lightning fast. (Unless you're on a really old phone, like pre 4) try restarting, or reloading the update if nothing else. If your on wifi check the connection

It's not just the Internet. All the apps load slow and my apple I.d. Pops up all the time. I tryed holding the home key and power button thing and didn't fix it

Since we are still talking a computer, pull the battery and let is sit for at least 30 seconds with no power of any kind to ensure a complete reset and memory clear and see if that helps. There may be some things that didn't clear memory during the upgrade.

This is a I-phone 4s I don't think you can pull the battery. It worked great when it was iOS 5

Bummer. Try googling the issue to see if anybody has a solution. I know it doesn't help now, but I always wait a while before updating.

hmm, not sure what to say. I've upgraded my iPhone 4, iPod Touch, and iPad all to iOS6 and they all work great.

Did you make sure your phone is fully compatible with the new version?

I haven't noticed too much of a speed difference on my iPhone 4S after the upgrade. One thing that is new is that panorama photo option thats in the iPhone 5 commercial. Have yet to use it, though

I believe there is a option to go back to your older version in Itunes. I upgraded mt 3GS with no problems. Did not really see any changes so far other than a few things that I don't use .

Plug it in to iTunes and restore if you are really having troubles. Makes sure to back it up first. If this is all foreign to you just make an appointment at the apple store. If you have a 4S iOS 6 should work great.

Yeah, you really never noticed anything until after the update of iOS 6. It just rolls way smoother and yes, the internet/safari browser loads faster per page than previously. Tested on same network with no changes to the network what so ever.

No issues with iOS 6 after upgrading my 4S here. I tested out the panoramic pictures at a concert last weekend and it works pretty slick.

Slightly off topic here, I was seriously thinking about getting the i-5. But no expandable memory option which I find insane and the built in battery were deal killers!

I have 4 iphones, I never had a battery go bad. The momory thing, hasnt really been a huge issue either, especially since cloud services No need to store it all on your phone if you dont need to.

The problem I have with cloud services is most of the cell providers are going away with unlimited plans. So if you have a lot of music, or other data stored in the 'cloud' then you must use much of your data limit to access your personal data, unless you have frequent access to WIFI.

But with that point made I have an Android Phone (Samsung Galaxy Nexus) with no removable memory (32GB internal) and have yet to have any issue with filling it up. Though I don't store much music or other memory intense data other than apps on my phone. Still have 23GB available.

One negative that I've noticed after updating my iphone4 to ios6 is, my battery drains a little faster.

Got the phone fixed this past weekend. Had to call my little sister and three hours later the phone is just as fast as day one. Thanks to all that helped. Chad
