What is everyones plan for opener?

I will be at my normal spot on the Minong Flowage for opener tryin for a walleye that might break the 15" mark

Good luck with that..Sounds like I am heading to the LCO, Grindstone waters of Hayward. Hopefully we can get some nice walleyes....Gd luck John.

I'll be fishing up at the cabin on Big Chetac Sunday for some Pike and Walleye, and probably some crappie on the fly.

Saturday actually looks like decent weather to hunt some trout, at this point I think that's what I'm going to do. We'll see though...

I will be on Yellow Lake in Webster trolling the flats for eyes ,,this will be the 28th annual opener for the group of us

Here on the bay, fishing Smallies with clients!!

Fished the Rainbow and had a 2 person limit of 2 walleyes each.16" to 17" and one 12" perch. Fished from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm

Well, spent some time fishin the dock at the Cabin, caught a pike on the fly... a pretty nice surprise.

Then I ended up finding a nice little brook trout stream. The map said the road intersected the stream... maybe once upon a time it did, but today most of it is so washed out even the ATV tracks ended about 1/2 mile up the "road."

We Kept pushing through it and were rewarded with one heck of a spring creek. Well worth the hike.

It's rain misting cold on the lake today, so I'll probably hit up some more streams before heading back to the cities.

Did you happen catch the water temp at your cabin?

Actually I did not even put the boat in all weekend... heh. decided if I was to endure cold and rainy, I'd rather do that in my waders and other trout gear.

As of monday 4/30 the surface temp was 52. Panfish are still out a little deeper it looks like...

I'll be up again this weekend, entire family is going up so I will likely be spending more time at the lake than on streams.
