Amazing. I don't know about your neck of the woods, but pheasants are pretty much extinct here. So, that's a great find.

Actually, I've seen more the last week than I have seen for a long time. A mild winter sure makes a difference.

My parents farm about 400 acres and didn't see one pheasant while combining. And they were not the only ones. We used to see, only about five years ago, as many as a couple hundred fly out while finishing a field. I was just thinking last week that I have never photographed a pheasant. Now any photos I take will be a sad comparison
