Lakes for Next Get together in Feb

I need ideas for a pole for lakes.

I have a few that people suggested, but i need a few more so we can get a pole started to pick a lake for Feb's Outing.

We already had a gtg on that lake and the rest is history

+++1 if the clarity allows it, hawkeye and behind the head better start some pre fishing and check it out,this year I will stay in my house those last 10 mins seems like thats when all the fish were speared.

Sakatah n washington have 6 to 8" as of last weekend for ice, solid ice from what I hear -fyi behindthehead

I might be bringin my broinlaw this next GTG. He can't wait to get out n try spearing!

it might be solid where you are standing but 10 feet away it might be [PoorWordUsage]. expecially washington. it doesnt freeze up all at the same time.

this is a very different year for ice. yes there might be 6 to 8 and i have drove a truck on 9 other years but theres no way i will drive on out on less than a foot this year. we havent had ice making weather yet this. there arent even many 4 wheelers out around here yet.

i would put a wheeler on the ice when its 40 even 50 in march with 2 feet of ice. but not a chance on christmas day with 6.

dont let any one fool you, theres no solid ice.

also there is Big Marine up by Hugo and Lino Lakes area

dying to try this lake may hit it up soon.
