PierBridge
I must admit, I do like the 2nd apology the publicist wrote much better then the 1st supposed KB apology.I guarantee Kyle still believes deep down it was Hornadays fault and these [PoorWordUsage] apology's mean nothing to me. HOF#13
Looks like Mars, Inc. may be a little more p____ed off that Toyota. As blatant and dangerous as it was, it would be nice to see a big money sponsor say this is not what we are about, our ties to Mr. Busch are now severed. In Kyle's defense the only other incident that I can think of that was this blatant and dangerous was when Edwards wrecked Keselowski on the frontstretch at Atlanta at 190 mph and all he received was 3 weeks "probation". Mars, Inc., Statement on Kyle Busch:"The recent actions demonstrated by Kyle Busch are not consistent with the values of Mars, Incorporated and we are very disappointed. We do not condone this behavior and expect those who represent our company and brands to abide by the same values our company stands for. We have expressed our strong concerns directly to Joe Gibbs Racing."Texas Motor Speedway – November 5, 2011 TOYOTA STATEMENT REGARDING NASCAR ANNOUNCEMENT INVOLVING KYLE BUSCH“Toyota understands it is NASCAR’s responsibility to enforce their rules for the well-being of the sport. We recognize this is a difficult situation for both Joe Gibbs Racing and Kyle Busch with respect to the incident that occurred at Texas Motor Speedway during Friday (Nov. 4) night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race. However, we are confident in the leadership of Joe and J.D. Gibbs, and are certain the team will handle this difficult situation in an appropriate manner. Toyota remains 100 percent committed to its support of Joe Gibbs Racing and its drivers.”Lee WhitePresidentT.R.D., U.S.A. harvey lee
Do you really believe the Edwards ordeal was a sblatant as Busch's?yes, I was fast at Fatlanta but Busch pushed Hornady right into the wall.I know cousin Carl is a bit more expierenced and he could do severe damage and also not make it look like he did it on purpose.Edwards is simply a bit smoother than dumbo Kyle.In regards to the Gibb's sponsors, I would hope they do something in regards to sponsorship for Kyle as that is the only way this will stop as I do not believe Gibbs will do anything.Joe Gibb's knows Kyle as he has worked with him long enough to know he is a dangerous hot head.I hope NASCAR sits him much longer for the nest issue as he will kill someone. LMITOUT
It's interesting that Gibbs has not yet confirmed that Candyland will be racing at Phoenix on Sunday.
LMITOUT
Uh oh! Brad Keselowski has heard the rumors and if they are true then Kyle Busch is out of a ride until Daytona and now without sponsorship. Busch was parked this week at Texas due to actions in the Camping World Truck Series when he wrecked fellow competitor Ron Hornaday under caution. LMITOUT
The fallout from #18-Kyle Busch's road rage at Texas continued Thursday when one of his sponsors asked for him to be removed from the season-ending Nationwide Series race. Multiple people familiar with Busch's schedule told the AP that Z-Line Designs asked this week that Denny Hamlin replace Busch in next weekend's Nationwide race at Homestead. The people spoke on condition of anonymity because Busch's future was still being discussed Thursday with sponsors and Joe Gibbs Racing. Among the options being considered is Aric Almirola replacing Busch in the final two Sprint Cup Series races of the season, as primary sponsor M&M's decides how it wants to proceed with Busch. Although NASCAR has cleared Busch to race this weekend at Phoenix, JGR officials have been silent on his status in Sunday's Cup race. toughguy
I'm a Kyle fan and I'm not happy with what he did last weekend. He should be out the rest of the year. Someone could have been seriously hurt or killed with a stunt like that.
slipbobbin
Mars has pulled their colors for the remainder of the year and JGR has parked Kyle for the remainder of the season. MArs will be back next year with the understanding no other instances happen. Interstate Batteries will be on he car for the remainder of the year. Sponsor changeKyle Busch will race at Phoenix, but not with primary sponsor M&M's on the No. 18. Instead, Interstate Batteries will be on the car for the season's final two Cup races. This, according to NASCAR home page.
slipbobbin
Looks like JGR had a change of heart. It was reported on Speed that Mars wanted Kyle out for the remainder on the season.
pushbutton
I don't know about a change of heart. Nascar must love this! A close points chase as well as the antics of a 3 year old now trying to stay out of timeout. Makes for a good story, more viewers, and more money.....
