Walking Dead

Sidebar- Name 4 and only 4 people from the Walking Dead cast that you'd want with you in a survival scenario. For me: Daryl, Carol, Michonne, and Maggie after Glenn gets killed. (Rick is a little too unstable at times)

My biggest disappointment is the fact the doctor actually put up a fight with Rick! It should've been more one sided in Rick's favor.

Also, I don't doubt that they could brew enough beer to support the doctor being an alcoholic (although you'd think it was be carefully rationed, just like the chocolate is), but where in the world is he getting all the bottles from?

I missed the last TWD and airport wi-fi's are not allowing me to watch a replay either so maybe some of my predictions have already been squashed. Rick will be outcast with a small group where they will hook up with Morgan. While this is happening, the Whisperers will attack Alexandria. This is probably where Maggie's pregnancy is announced and we say goodbye to Glenn. Next season will start with Rick and Morgan's group saving the remnants of Alexandria and on they go. Nice tidy nutshell. There should be a lot more action than that packed into 90 minutes. Hopefully our hotel will have it so I don't have to wait for dvr and avoid this thread.

That's possible I suppose. I've been wondering why they kept showing him wandering around, yet then the group picked up and headed north and didn't get why Morgan mattered at that point.

Tomorrow is it until October. The guy that played Abraham said in an interview fans are going to be upset with the season finale, which I take we lose a big character or something. If Daryl dies we riot!!

Anyways enjoy tomorrows show, I don't want to peak on here for the chance someone posts a spoiler about it!

Was hoping I would get to see it early here in the UK and be tempted to be the spoiler. Find out that it airs here on Monday nights. Not sure how eager I will be to watch the dvr Monday night after a 9 hour flight. Probably have to avoid this thread Tuesday or maybe longer if snow goose hunting looks tempting.

Sticking to my Glenn prediction. Kind of agree with the Sasha call but have a feeling that this episode may rekindle her character.

My biggest gripe was, when did Morgan become a kung my-mom-sees-this expert? Also, the fact that Glenn has let this guy live for about the 4th time now, leads me to believe he's the next casualty for season 6. I thought they did a great job of leaving us wanting more! It was leading up to what could've been a lame ending, because there were so many stories going so many places, but they successfully put it together in the end.

I wanted to scream at the tv when the one guy started walking away and though nothing of having Gabriel close the gate. I realize it was to show the viewers how vulnerable and clueless these people are. But if that's the case, there is absolutely no way Alexandria would have lasted as long as it has! It would have been taken over by marauders immediately! Especially with it's close proximity to Washington, DC! Oh well. They did a good job this season! Can't wait for the spinoff this summer.

I think it was a very good finale to a season that eventually became respectable over the past few weeks. I still maintain my belief that this was among the weakest of all seasons when factoring in everything (regardless of how much AMC crams "the best season ever" promos down my throat every commercial, it doesn't make it true). That said, it set up a lot of cool things and fun possibilities. What a shock for Morgan to finally catch up to Rick in the manner he did! How far they have come (or fallen) since seeing each other last...

@JB, I know they take some liberties with this show and just plain blow it sometimes in terms of believability, such as Morgan's staff prowess, as you mentioned, so I'll throw my nominee into the ring from last night... In a world where a bite, a claw, or even a simple scratch can infect you, I had to actually laugh out loud when Rick pops that walkers head and gets, I would have to think, not only saliva and blood into his mouth, but likely brain matter, too. And not just in his mouth, but on the 43 cuts on his face, as well. If that doesn't do him in, I think he's immune! smile

Anyhow, my final thought on the season is that I am still a fan and look forward to the next chapter.

I thought it was a great ending even though you could see it most of it coming. We knew Rick would redeem himself by saving the town somehow. We knew the wolves were near by and finally got to meet them.

I was losing interest in the show until the last couple of episodes. The episodes post holiday break were mostly awful and slow but they seemed to pick up the pace a bit last night. Good thing they did or I probably would have dropped out after this season.

Now I am hooked for a few more episodes next season. If it falls flat again I am done but I doubt it will with the wolves living next door. Daryl left behind information on the group? I guess the wolves will be on their trail. I expected them to be onto Alex by now.

First of all...why was kung f.u. auto edited? Anyway, yeah, having blood all over someone has happened before, and you'd think for sure that would be an automatic virus transfer! One of the better examples...Daryl reuses his arrows. How does he keep the ones he kills walkers with separated from the ones he uses for hunting?

Speaking of Daryl, one more gripe with the episode. If he's such an expert tracker, how in the world did he not hear a peep come out of the trailers that were stock piled full of walkers? Those trailers are NOT sound proof! The walkers might have been calm and quiet in there, but once they hear those voices on the outside, you'd think they would start going nuts. And who knew that techno music is the ultimate zombie round up tool?

I think the final scene could've been done better. Maybe an argument build up could've resulted in Pete killing the husband, instead of it just up and happening. Oh well, still good stuff!

cheap entertainment smile watched talking dead for the first time. I liked the tribute to those that died on this episode. lol

I've try to make it a habit to watch the Talking Dead, or at least the first 10-15 minutes, after each show. I find it has been helpful at times in breaking down certain elements of the show. Granted, a show shouldn't need a companion show to explain things to you that the writing/acting couldn't portray...that's lazy cinema...but overall, the TD can be pretty decent and even helpful sometimes.

And I agree, the tributes are pretty funny smile

It wasn't worthy of a season finale and seemed like any other episode, just 30min longer. There was nothing shocking revealed, no cliffhanger at the end, and nothing making me wish that we didn't have to wait six months until the next season.

It was a flop as far as finales go.

I usually skip talking dead, or breeze through it quickly. I can't stand Chris Hardwick! He's more annoying now than he was 20 years ago when he hosted "singled out"! I of course watched it because of Jenny McCarthy, but he was still annoying nonetheless.
