Walleyehooker
That recipe looks good I might try it. On top it says 1/2 cup brown sugar and below it says 3/4 cup sugar.wich one is correct?
Moose
Sorry about that the original recipe said 3/4 cup of regular sugar but it was way to sweet so I redid it and used 1/2 cup of brown sugar to make it more like a caramel apple dish came out great.. thirdeye
How about baked apples? Yes, these were done in my Big Green Egg but work equally well in your oven. This batch has a honey/butter/cinnamon sauce but many other sauces work fine. Things like raisins are delicious in them. You can even pack slices of a Snickers bar in the core for a real treat. BobT
Baked apples with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon are always good.We have one of those hand crank machines that peels, cores, and spiral cuts the apples. Works really great. After running them throuh we make a single slice down one side and create a stack of apple rings. Season these with cinnamon and sugar and then dehydrate them. Great snack even the kids will love.
