Summer in the City---

We spent the holiday weekend in Chicago for a wedding, so I thought I'd share a few images from city celebrations, kind of a change for this forum

The Bean in Millineum Park - great sculpture, watching the changing reflections of the skyline was fun, next time I need to get there in the evening!

We got to watch the Navy Pier fireworks from the rooftop (64th floor), unfortunately we had one building interfere with our view! You can see the Pier's ferris wheel

But the city views from the rooftop were amazing, my skills do not it justice!

I loved working on the rooftop shots, so many different options! My only regret was that I didn't slep all of my lenses, etc on the mile walk down Michigan Ave to get to the condo! Would have been fun to try a few different things - oh well, there's always next time

Great series! My daughter lives in Chicago (looks like not too far from where you took some of the shots) but she came home to Babbitt for the 4th! I too, like the roof top shots. Well done!
