I track all stats every day on it so I can always be prepared in a debate

Do you keep stats on mental errors or when Delmon turns a basic baseball fundamental that a little leaguer could pull off into blundering debacle? grin

Speaking of stats how do you feel about both of YOUR guys "Danny V, Delmonty" being in the bottom 5 of the league in on base percentage at .281 and .273 un-respectively.

Since you read them stats everyday... smile

Danny V has some pretty nice clutch numbers. Cough, cough.

Danny V seems to be in a sophomore slump. Delmon has his avg back up to .254 and hopefully he gets hot like last year where it looks like he can't miss. Those 2 guys upping thier avg the 2nd half of the season is key to this team making the playoffs.

You're lost. This isn't the royals forum

I think anyone that thinks Delmon is awesome shouldn't be telling anyone anything about anything. Went to a little league game of my kids the other night, the 9 year olds in the OF looked like gold glovers compared to Delmon

I'm more or less back on for this team and this season as far as contending for division. despite being 10 games under .500 it's looking like the central will once again be very weak and twins have a way with beating central division teams so think they could do it.

as far as anything else though I've no confidence. gardy proved again last night that against better competition he just seems to make the wrong decision too often. during their nice run he seemed to forget about his 100 count rule but not last night. then to compound matters, he picks a lefty who isn't their best lefty reliever this year. then he assumes that his catcher is not going to call for a steady diet of fast balls but never mind actually taking the time to talk to his catcher while he's standing next to him about the pitch selection and the rest is history.

I predict his injury will be serious enough to "force" Gardehire to keep him out of the lineup. We can only hope that is the last scene of that clowns sideshow act with the twins logo on his xs sized cap.

Even though I totally agree with Thatoneguy, I will disagree on this thread so I can collect my free brewski should they turn the Titanic around this year. I will take an ice cold PBR at The Pelican Bar in your home town, Guy! LOL

We visit Walker every year and after hitting Reeds, all the men in our group just seem to find their way down to that Pelican Bar for a few pitchers and some cheese curds!

He's lucky that the bat toss didn't smoke that ump in the face..

And as far as last night goes.. he miss played the ball and then still missed what should have been a routine catch and managed to jam his right ankle and slam his left knee on the wall and yet for some reason grabbed his knee (which made ne think oh no ACL) and yet after all of that, we are probably just looking at a normal ankle sprain.
