anyone looking at the weather forecast like me?

Opener is looking pretty dismal weatherwise! i can deal with a temp change between 5 and 10 degrees, but 83 today and 57 on Opener...ugghh. i know, i know, we can't do anything about the weather, but was really wishing for the weather to agree with us since we had a long cold winter. looks like my early morning Opener gig now has a wrench thrown in it.

meteorologists can hardly predict tomorrows weather with much accuracy. I take any weather forecast more than 2-3 days out with a grain of salt

I'd rather have mid to upper 50's, clouds with a chance of rain, and a nice 5-10 mph wind (as is forecasted for Mille Lacs) than that 80-85 degree, flat calm [PoorWordUsage] we had last year! I'd rather catch fish than get a tan.

Right on schedule...Wouldn't be opener unless we had a big old cold front come through on Friday...thats why I've started waiting (as hard as that is) a week or so..I'm done with the really cold hands, too cold water, etc etc..but good luck, see ya out there next week!

I like the cold and crappy weather...last year I was out on Saturday night wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Total bummer...give me the cold and the wind!

I don't care much about the weather, as long as we don't have lightning and thunder and gale-force winds. It's just going to be a pleasure to be out there chasing down those 'eyes. I have confidence in catching a few!

Heading to Vermillion. It may be cool temps and most likely some rain, but at least we won't be scooping snow out of the boats like a few years ago. Made snowmen and put on the bow, and had snowball fights among our group while rigging and jigging.
