Jeez, that brings back some memories!!  I saw Bikini Kill back in the early 90's in Fargo, when they opened for Fugazi, at the Moose Lodge if I remember correctly!

I saw them 4 times. Good shows.

Alittle story about Bikini Killl .....

They were from Washington state, a big part of the emerging "grunge rock" scene. Pals with nirvana before they became NIRVANA. In fact, the drummer was going out with Curt Cobain. No surprise here, but Cobain never purchased deoderant. On the rare occasions when he did use it, he'd just borrow his girl friends. So, one night the 2 bands are hanging out togather, very drunk, and the singer for BK spray paints on the wall "Curt smells like Teen Spirit". Teen Spirit being the drummers deoderant brand. The album came out a couple months later, and nirvana becane NIRVANA.
